When an exosekelton is combined with an aerotrim and a virtual reality headset, then a person walk indefinitly without running into walls, lay their real body back on a bed when their virtual avatar is laying down, twist in the direction of a cart wheel, et cetra. Ideally the real direction of gravity always points in the same direction as virtual gravitational pull for the virtual avatar in virtual reality.

Biotech has the power to revolutionize the world, and cell culture will make us able to make plant and animal products without the need of the animals or the plants. It will make us also capable to produce more food with less space, energy, and nutrient consumption, which makes it environmentally friendly. It also avoids animal suffering and killing. Biotech also has the potential to enhance medicine by cultivating organs with our own cells which will not be rejected by our bodies if we need a transplant, it will become an autotransplant, or an autoplant, saving thousands of lives each year. Or why not being able to repair the organs by another biotech not available for now. The possibilities of the nanotechnologies are very exciting, especially the exponential ones. I'm so glad that East Asia embraces Science.
Jeez o Peet's. To paraphrase, he stated that CO2 causes the global warming. The problem is the word "causes". Little doubt that it contributes to climate change, but how much, and how much will going net zero tomorrow even affect changes? The oil companies lie. Big pharma lies. The government at almost every level lies. Non government organizations and trusts lie. Politicians certainly lie. And massively, the media lies. Why, to either increase profits, protect or enhance their jobs, or to further an ideology which may be directly climate or using climate as leverage for the gain of some other cause (see open border anarchists and wealth redistributionists). They all lie. There is absolutely no proof that all these efforts to drive less emissive cars and trucks, and raping the earth for the various minerals needed for these transitions will have any meaningful impact on the climate. It is just as likely that the shear cost of these transitions on the poorest nations and poorest demographics will cause massive societal disruptions that plunge whole regions and countries into life threatening poverty and violence. Governments will become more authoritarian (see the Democratic party in the US, not the Republicans) under "emergency powers" that never end. So many of you to think that you can weather this well because you or your family is rich. Or that by virtue of actively or by voice support "the cause" you will do somehow be exempt from various austere policies deemed necessary. Nonsense. Imagine if the societal ills approach the level of needing armed gates in the richer communities, is that any way to live? Imagine they decide to take half the wealth (you have too much in your 401k, or too many houses), and inflation hits 25% for multiple years, is this a great result? Etc.etc. You simply cannot force these kind of changes and expect no consequence.

Went through the Indorama speech where Carlo was talking about doing something that will change the world. I would like to specifically address his initial question with an answer that "Yes, I do believe I have developed something that will change the world, and I would like SGInnovate (and other interested parties) to reach out to me to start a movement". Specifically, I have developed a thinking approach that is wisdom based (as opposed to the dominant approaches in the World today, which are intelligence based) and will be able to affect 3 different industries: education, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing. I will focus on A.I. here since SGInnovate has a light touch on education and quantum computing. Effectively, using a wisdom based approach (allowing for the teaching of the cognitive aspects of wisdom, which cannot be achieved now, according to general consensus and expert opinion, from my research, will allow us to being A.I. from Stage 2 (with memory) to Stage 3 (with identity). This allows us to move from a data-centric approach to a logic-centric approach, and will address all of the current bottlenecks that current obstruct AI's attempt towards AGI (note that Wisdom is an even better construct when compared to AGI - using the GQ construct, when dealing with the capabilities which we hope to accomplish with AGI). Issues such as trustworthy AI, explainable AI, bias, ethics, the black box issue (linked to explainable and trustworthy AI), etc can all be addressed (but results will differ according to methodological and application considerations). What I've written here is very limited, so I hope for a reach out from interested parties. To support my claims, I have formal training (albeit not in the specific field) at the doctoral level, have recently co-written a chapter on quantum computing (despite it not being in my area of expertise, but my thinking approach can be applied into quantum computing) in a taylor&francis book (www.taylorfrancis.com/chapters/edit/10.1201/9781003132080-1/quantum-computing-computational-excellence-society-5-0-paul-griffin-michael-boguslavsky-junye-huang-robert-kauffman-brian-tan), and have successfully completed an AI and ML certification course with SMU where I took the opportunity to apply my thinking approach into the various assignments and received feedback from the course coordinator. The feedback collaborates my application to deal with specific issues brought up by the assignments. I hope to find individuals who would want to help me bring this into reality and create a new industry of A.W. (Artificial Wisdom), as well as, to advance A.I. from Stage 2 to Stage 3.
AI should not be regulated by industry or government. AI must be regulated by the People. Of course, the People don't even exist as a real entity any more. So that pretty much guarantees we are going to have a bad outcome with AI. Both industry and government are selfish and power-seeking.
