Hi Aminanta, thanks for sharing this great video. I am currently in the program and seeking a preceptor in the Fargo Moorhead area. I had gone in for a physical assessment sometime ago and in my conversation with the provider, I told her I need a preceptor for school and she shared your business card with me. I reached out to the email on the card and someone responded and said they will talk to the provider and see if they have any openings. I am guessing u are the provider. The card was your card and not the facility card. Please my name is Christian and if u saw my email, please let me know if u can help me. I am desperate at this point. When I saw this video, I was like, I know this name, then I rushed to my car and grabbed your business card. Please help me. Thank you

the exams, where do you take them? Are they proctored? My FNP program from 10 years ago had proctored exams. At completion I literally destroyed the device, I hated that part of school.
@@aminatakamaradnp Were there only 2 exams in the program? I am like you I would rather go to a testing site than get another device. In your opinion, which semester was the hardest? I need to maintain at least 30 hours a week at work. I can make almost the same hourly rate (especially if I go back to nights) as a Psych RN as I currently make as an NP where I live. Does it sounds silly to stop working an NP and go back to bedside nursing as a Psych RN while in the program?
There were multiple exams for each class. I will say the first semester was the hardest, too Many assignments and tests. Regarding working as an RN or NP, it depends on multiple factors like family, stress tolerance, and work hours. Working as an NP fits my lifestyle at this time rather than RN. I hope this helps.

Thank you for the info. Does teachers teach you classes or they give assignments and we do self learning? You said you virtually meet with teacher once a month. I wonder how that works if it is a day and time we are at work.

Stop burning the ends just comb them out and boil them it looks so much better when I do my yarn braids now I comb the end out and then braid it and then boil my hair after trust me it looks so much better....
Hello Dr. Kamara! I'm about to begin my first semester in this program. Do you have any tips on how to study for the tests/quizzes? Are they based of the power points, lectures, text book?
Hi Gabriel, congratulations ! "purple book" the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner review and resource manual was very helpful. It has about 100 questions in the back and Some of our test questions came from that book. And the pocket prep question bank. I made a video on both resources . The PowerPoint were very helpful as well.

I am very nervous about possibly encountering professors that are not understanding and failing arbitrarily for computer problems. Do you have any more advice for this type of issue or is there a way to get help from Liberty IT to prevent these issues?
@mpage7169 hey dear, congratulations. IT was helpful the few times I needed them. I will say pay attention to the professor that you choose, this particular one was difficult and I heard they no longer work at Liberty.
The schools are definitely getting more expensive. You have to be creative with figuring out how to pay for it with minimal loans. I have a few video's on my channel talking about how I was able to pay for both my FNP and PMHNP degrees without loans.
I came for the hair tutorial, but learned you were a Psychiatric NP. I'm a psychotherapist with my own private practice as well. I precept Psychiatric NP as well. Congratulations on your new practice 👏🏾
Passing ANCC/AANP exams is easy when you study hard, if you can't study or you don’t have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself a help like Mrs Cynthia
