Just dropped $430 dollars on four pairs of Kuhl Jeans…all of them..ALL come unsnapped all day long. Piles of crap…don’t wear them and will NEVER buy any or their products.
I watched this video just to see if it was just me or if everyone else hates the waist snap. Looks like I’m in good company. Why, Kuhn, why? Why would you make sure great pants and use such a garbage snap? I have two pairs that I constantly have to refasten all through the day. Sorry. Switching to Truewerk shorts and pants now.
The waist snaps are pathetic. Funny that they are pointing them out as a "pro". I really only need one thing from a wist fastener...for it to stay closed. Huge miss considering how great the rest of the pants are.
I decided to buy the chaco z2 classic for the first time believing that it would be a comfortable shoe. But after wearing it and trying to adjust it, I was not impressed because every step I walked The strap tightened and had to rest and adjust again. I don't know if chaco knows about this problem or not. I believe there are many others who have encountered the same problem. It's $100 not worth it.
The snap closure is a horrible idea. My snap always popped even when brand new. That snap closure makes the entire pant practically useless. Don't overthink the closure, the closure has one purpose, to stay closed. Button and loop would be 1000% better.
So, you skied the peak labeled 12,565 on the map that's NE of the summit of Gibbs? It's obviously part of the Gibbs massif, but I've seen a few reports of skiing Gibbs and they all seem to be of the east face of the lower peak. Did you just make a "B" line from the highway? It doesn't seem like any of those dirt roads would be plowed, unless someone lives out there.
2:40 so the designer seems to be touting the fact that they used an unmodified snap as tho it's a selling point, when in fact among Kuhl wearers it's one of the most commonly noted complaints. They're not bad pants, don't get me wrong, but to draw comparisons to yourself and, like, dickies for example as tho your designs are some how innovative, or your gear (buttons, snaps, zippers) choices being non standard are superior to others is just... not correct.
Great video! I have the Traveler SteriPen, and it works fabulous. Taken it on many hikes and never stirred my water, and I'm still alive! I guess I'll remember to stir it next time!
I absolutely LOVE the fit and material, but the snap is horrible. They "repaired" the snap on one pair, but clearly there was nothing wrong with the snap and it came back just as bad. It is just a poorly designed snap on an otherwise great pair of pants. In an email from them today, they told me they are aware of the problem (really??) and are "starting to produce more pants with a traditional style of closure in hopes of eventually getting rid of the snap completely". I feel like they should offer owners of the crap-snap, a free replacement with a better closure as my Kuhl pants are essentially worthless now because of the snap.
Those snaps suck balls I will never spend money on their pants again till they fix it. You have to fight to get the snaps open on the stealth shirt but the pants fly open if the wind blows I don’t get it.
I own 4+ pairs of kuhl pants and and every single one of them the snap will come undone from seemingly no effort at all. Even the pants that are too large on me. Kuhl - Please fix the snap design or stop using them.
Don't buy a Gregory pack. My son is thru hiking the AT with one that is falling apart and after 20 days of back and forth emails and phone calls we still do not have a replacement. He sent photos of bag and they agreed to replace it but have done nothing. Imagine being on the trail and the thing you depend on most is failing you.
