Couldn’t see but if it’s got 62 as the first two numbers you’re spot on. Mine is a 62…. that I purchased new and back then no internet but I read and talked to everyone to get some information. Mine had some electro pencil work done on the ieft side below the trunnion. Oh and the muzzle was still threaded with cap. Wish I’d pick up three or four, I paid $224.00 for mine. Love your rifle use it and enjoy it that what they’re made for!

I bought one just like you with that bent over metal reinforcement, which is actually part of the insert before they mold the magazine. Got one in the brown then I just ordered a black one just like it with the reinforcements and then one with they call fde metal lined but no metal reinforcement on the Locking lugs. Honestly unless you're going to slam it down I don't see a problem. Many people have been running the MagPul magazines without metal locking lugs and they don't have any issues. I just ordered the fde Magpul because it's the closest looking color to Bakelite, basically for show although I'm sure it'll work just fine regardless no matter what I put it through.
