This is very valuable historical footage. I know plenty about the history of marching bands and drum and bugle corps in the United States, but not so much the history of marching bands and drum and bugle corps in the Philippines. Thanks for the upload!
@@paradapasayoserenataFrom what I've seen, it seems that there are two different types of drum and lyre corps in the Philippines. One type has vertical lyres that are marched, the other has horizontal bells on stands that can't be marched. What are these different types called?
That arrangement of My Favorite Things is very similar to that played by the Kilties in 1978 and the Sky Ryders in 1988! The major difference is MMDA's arrangement is in G minor instead of A minor.
Procession tapos ang tugtug ng banda "pop" ...hahaha May majorette pa....the only Catholic country na may majorette na iiksi ng shorts twing prusisyun. Ang procesiion sa Pilipinas lifestyle na lang, wala ng ka sagraduhan.
