Swipe cuts were so cool. Saw you payed special attention to the color grading too and it came out super nice! Audio was also much better. Portlandia was great place when I went! Really encapsulates the Portland vibe well, owner is so kind. It really is also very unassuming from the outside too! Having a hobby that places me in front of a computer screen, I really understand what Aki means by how important getting out and running a cafe is for physical and mental health! Superb stuff, keep it up.
Thanks! Had to work on the audio separate in a DAW this time cause of air-con noise and such lol. Really amazing the kinds of tools available now for doing audio cleanup
CINEMATOGRAVY whaaaa? You really nailed the youtuber style, only thing I'd recommend is getting a loudness meter and balancing your audio. You're voice is just a bit on the low side. Those beans looked yum! Makin me wanna get into more specialty coffee, tho I am ashamed to say that I'm more of a sugar slut when it comes to drinks
Thanks! Put a tripod down on an old shirt and used that as a bad make-shift dolly and slide lol. Def need to spend more time on vocal balance though. Heavily recommend the specialty coffee rabbit hole! Honestly I think you can get some really nice affordable specialty beans but the main thing to get is a decent hand grinder to grind fresh imo
@@JustinParzik I’ll have to look around my area for a coffee place, I know someone who works at Sur La Table so I can maybe get a nice roaster or grinder for a discount
@@paradoxenon In that case the Baratza Encore might be a decent one to take a look at! Or if they have any other metal burr hand grinders, that’s a more economical (but still quality) option
Makin me yearn for a pao de queijo. Brazil actually has the largest Japanese diaspora in the world, maybe that's why the music in both countries is so damn good.
gotta love the cozy little local shops like this one, they do a great job keeping communities feeling tight-knit and lively and there's nothing like well priced quality coffee roasted in-house to bring people together :)
NICE filter. Really makes everything look warm and inviting. Never knew Japan had festivals like this, but I should expect as much from a metropolis as diverse as Tokyo. I wonder what kind of history the African diaspora of Japan has? Seems like an interesting combo.
Yeah I probably spent too much time on the color, hoping I can keep working to make it noticeable but also not too over the top. In terms of the festival, its actually run by this NPO who seems to do a lot of good work in supporting the community here
