Speaking in "tongues" is speaking in one spiritual language that is the only sign given in scripture that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit when they recieved( Acts ch.2,10,and ch.19). Afterwards , it is the believers' private prayer language for self edification. Thr gift of speaking in "tongues" is a different operation of this spiritual language and is to be accompanied by a believer with the gift of interpretation of "tongues" for the edification of a church gathering.
It's more than two sins that will send you to hell. The Bible says: "But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death." (Revelation 21:8)
Sorry for you. With all my respect…such a failure and deception! This can be served to those who never studied the Bible by themselves. The purpose of tongues is not only glorifying God, first, start from there. God has never changed, and the Bible is unchangeable, so don’t try to twist it if you don’t understand something, don’t have experience, don’t believe or altogether. Just be honest and say, “yes it is written, but there are things I still do not understand and I will rather preach about that which is clear to me”, but don’t try to twist the scripture and lead people astray!
Yes amen, i mean i ask people if we pray in tongues and we bear fruit? How can this be from deception? Like some say its from devil, and if it leads us to holiness how can this be deception? But then in other hand i do have questions for some charismatic preachers, who say they pray tongues for hours a day, and they also mention about power etc. But never much about holiness and victory over sin, so i wonder, if someone prays many hours per day in tongues, and so that mean this person must walk by the spirit man most time right? So if that is the case, so then the fruit also must be evident right? And not greed ofr power, money and signs and wonders that one is thinking about it. Whats ur take? God bless
Sin PERIOD takes you to hell. If you don't give them to God and believe in Christ's sacrifice and offering for our sins, and follow him, one will die with their sins upon themselves.
I disagree with one thing. All sins can condemn a man to hell unless they are in Christ and through Christ saved by grace through faith. But yes sexual sin is to be taken very seriously because it is one that is so easy to fall into because by nature men desire sexual relations which makes it all the more dangerous because it plays on and is a perversion of a natural desire which makes it so hard to let go of.
One sin of eating the forbidden fruit in Eden resulted in judgment of condemnation to hell. With the covering of the grave provided through the atonement by our Lord Jesus Christ, any sin place us in hell.
I was a porn addict at the very same time a Helper in the Church and i end up commiting sexual offense fornication and i fell into sin. But through the Grace 😭😭 of Christ Jesus I'm baptized and repented i can tell you that I'm free from this sin ( porn ) Apostle Paul said flee from sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6 full chapter read it
Native languages have their source being the mind. We learn the language, we speak it, and we understand it when we are spoken to in it. The speaking in "tongues" is one spiritual language thats' source is our spirit. It is our spirit making intercession for us to God. Thus, it can't be recognized or understood unless translated by a believer with the gift of interpretation. Speaking in " tongues" with the interpretation is the gift of speaking in " tongues"which is a different operation of speaking in " tongues" than the initial evidence confirming that a believer has recieved the Holy Spirit and their private prayer language for self edification.(Acts ch 2,10,and ch.19)( 1Cor 14:4). The gift of tongues,and the gift of interpretation, are for the edification of a church assembly not for the edification of the individual believer alone.( 1Cor.12:1,7). This speaker, although well meaning is a perfect example of who the scripture is speaking about," But the natural man recieveth not the things of God for they are foolishness to him, neither can he know them,for they are spiritually discerned"(1Cor.ch.2)
If we confess our sin to God only is it not right.?lf l say lord l have wrong somebody and l ask you with all my heart plaese do forgive me is it not right?
we should settle matters with God, as well as man also. Otherwise our repentance is not proper. But in some cases if the other person is not available (or) if our confession causing trouble to other person, in that case God will consider us as we settled the matter.

Would you like to talk about this and possibly get help to overcome this, Jesus loves you and He came that you might overcome this weakness. Jesus came that you might be set free, if you believe it you will see the fulfillment.
Sexual desire is normal and we have to accept this fact. But Jesus has taught us how to use our eyes,hands & legs by not doing our will but God's. By yielding our mind to the Holy Spirit, we can receive Grace by doing God' will.
Sexual desires are only normal in the box of marriage not outside of it or amongst those not married yet. This comment could cause one to think it's normal. Mind your comments and be specific bout it. God bless you
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven.(Richness comes from the love of the world(money)worship of the golden calf has so many ways...There I disagree with you Uncle..a sin is a sin but the punishment are different in hell...The Lord requires as to be holy with no blemish thats where self denial gets in..Jesus had many so called follower but when it came to self denial he had only 12 true disciples but again one loved the money and he betrayed him....Excuses are costly..You cant love any other thing more than God.(Mathew 19:24)
As long as you are here and alive you still have a chance to allow God save you from any sin. I'm a living testimony that God can change people if you give Him a chance. Ask God to help you
Hi @Don Syiemlh.. yes other sins also will take you to hell like love of money. But Hell is 100% guarantee with Sexual Sin and with Anger (or unforgiving Attitude).
Very true,i am like you i read and read and ask and all my beliver friends are amazed as i am from different faith But nothing like Christian who love to read and tell all who our Lord is.
