Hey there, friends! I’m Emma & I am so happy that you stumbled upon my channel. I am a 26 year old wife & mama who loves to document her life through videos. I’m a follower of Jesus and live for Him.
Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
My nurse, amongst many other things she did poorly, also screwed up my pitocin on multiple occasions throughout my labour. Let’s just say if I get her during my next labour in two months I’ll be asking for someone else 😂
SAME! I'm due in 10 weeks with our very last babe. I was planning for an epidural, but feeling tough now after watching 😂 My first was unmedicated/no epidural and it was painful, but made me feel like the Hulk or something right after lol! It really is the experience of a lifetime. Good luck to you!
I am baffled by young women these days. I would be throwing the cameras out the window, and all unnecessary people out of the room! LOL I would be totally humiliated. I mean, who all is going to end up viewing those videos???
This was such a beautiful moment that it made me cry. I loved it. I’m four months away from giving birth to my little one. I’m excited and scared at the same time. Your midwife was so awesome.
This was so encouraging. I’m being induced with my 4th for hypertension as well. I have always reached a point of requesting the epidural, but I want so badly to go unmedicated. It’s so hard to find stories as graceful and motivating as yours. I am scheduled for next week so thank you for posting. Fear is in the mind, strength is in the heart. Question… where did you get the bra that you labored in?
I know mamas mean well.. but can we normalize that "need" and "must-haves" is relative? It is SO disheartening to see how many "MUST-HAVES" videos are out there for newborns. And the lists are endless ☠️ plus, every baby/mama is different so how can you call it "must-haves" when not every mama/baby MUST have it!? I watch one of Margaret Matheny's videos and all the overconsumption/overspending subsides.
I am up with pregnancy insomnia, and I just found out that I won't be able to birth at a birth center and need to be at the hospital across the street. I am crushed because I have envisioned homebirth or birth center for years. I am so glad that God led me to click on your video as the very first video!! The providence of God is beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
This is so encouraging to see. I've been watching a lot of induced labor vlogs because I plan on being induced again with this baby, but I have never liked the idea of an epidural and being immobile and numb so it's been a bit disappointing that every other vlog I've watched, they get an epidural. Nothing against the people that do it, it's just not for me so it's nice to know someone else did it without an epidural and handled it well. My first induction was an emergency and it felt like my body was going 100mph the whole time and I couldn't catch a break at all. It only took 45 minutes from the time of starting pitocin to my baby being born so it was way intense. I'm hoping for something more gradual this time. After seeing you handle it like normal labor I'm feeling much more confident that I can handle it too when it's not a stressful emergency situation with other complications going on.
This video is so cringe. This is my first time watching this individual and I only clicked on it because I’m expecting my third and considering a natural birth. This girl comes off as such a snob and rude. Ew. Be kinder to people and your husband. And the fact that she went off on the nurse? Gross. Just ask for a new nurse no need for a back and forth. I’ve had two inductions so I am very familiar with the process and that’s where my opinion comes from. This was just all bad she should have been patient and labored at home when her time came instead of at a hospital that makes you “anxious”.
The fact that you are coming here an bashing a very newly postpartum woman’s birth video by saying she’s rude and a snob is the peak of irony. Just scroll on and let everyone else come and appreciate the beautiful experience she shared.
I was medically induced for gestational hypertension - which I’m not sure I included in the video. So I could not labor at home even though I would have loved to. You gotta make the best of the situation you’re placed in and I posted this to encourage others of that! Sorry that this was not your response to my birth story.
So I’m watching this, and you’re talking about your midwife and I was like oh that’s so cool, my midwife was named Marianne too. She delivered my last 3 babes. Then you’re walking the halls and I was like… wait 😅 is she at D******? 😮 Then I see Marianne in the hallway and I was like HOW out of all the birth vlogs I’ve been binging tonight do I find another FMCC momma😂 wild.
No I was 38.1wks, gestational hypertension. Same thing happened with my first pregnancy! Luckily inductions have gone very smoothly for me both times! Thankful for that 🤍
@@thebeautyguru4u thank you! You’ve inspired me, especially since I’ve heard that contractions with pitocin are far more painful and you were able to still do it without epidural.
@@SimplyAnaisabel Awh thank you!! don’t get me wrong - they hurt but I can’t imagine what they’re like without pitocin, I don’t think I’d make it to the hospital because I wouldn’t feel anything until the very end 🤣 maybe my body and mindset tolerates them very well but the pushing is the most “painful” for me personally - I think of the contractions as more “intense”
I would tell all new moms the same brands you mentioned to buy for baby. I had premie twin boys and was so glad I found lovedbaby premie which truly are the right size as well as H&M
For my birth I was induced w/no epidural and I honestly can't believe how you were able to move around so close to the birth! I couldn't move an inch on the bed the pain was so severe. Great job 👏
I have gestational diabetes, and I'm really afraid of a possible induction while trying to deliver naturally. This reassured me that our bodies were made to do this.
No I didn’t pack anything because my hospital provides it all! (Pads, underwear, tucks pads, ice packs, peri bottle, dermoplast). I would call your birthing facility and see what they supply 🤗
