Just noticed the symbiote covering part of Matoro's face has shrunk since he first had it in The Possession and when we last saw it in Storm of Fatality
Nuparu: "Suppressing the Symbiote was a mistake.." Matoro has controlled the symbiote power, to the extent where he uses his ice powers as Toa, and is not as influenced by its evil as Nuparu is. Nuparu embraced it, so it has spread and corrupted him further, making him more powerful than Matoro.
@@skeletex That makes sense. But it also shows that Matoro has a much stronger will than Nuparu. How easily Nuparu fell under Marduk's manipulations and welcomed the Symbiote while Matoro fought and learned to control it his own way... Speaking of which...glad to know Marduk is back, and the fact he is two beings makes things even more interesting.
Hey spidey 406 i have a question why did it take you 10 years to finish the series like for vg sas it took only 4 to 6 years to only complete the series is it because you were trying to make it better
If you look at my channel, there's a bunch of content I do besides Spider-Man. So there are several projects I worked on between Spider-Man Ultimate installments. And there was also school, college, and jobs. Spider-Man Ultimate 7 took around 10 months to complete from start to finish. Also, everything you see in my animations I create from scratch, all environments and models, also all the rigging and lighting and rendering. Most youtubers, including Vg simply rip models from games or buy others and take several shortcuts to creating their content. Most of the time they are just animating other people's models. I prefer to make everything myself. I also do not use motion capture or rip animations from videogames as well.
@@skeletex that's a good thing and make similar series like ultimate spiderman but don't keep it so long so that you don't have to manage a lot of stuff and that takes a tole on your health as an animation artist doing animation for several hours does put a tole on my health so I kinda understand what you went through
Taking out the symbiote plot, this is the kind of thing I always imagined a Bionicle TV series being like, since the original Bionicle had a lot of lore, I would have loved to see a very faithful TV show adaptation based off of the original Bionicle toys, if it was ever made.
They'll never make one, because they refused to ever actually use the LEGO pieces for the CG models in the movies and also never included any choreographed fights in those either (with some very small exceptions).
I was hoping we would've seen more of Plasma after his fight in part 2, but sheesh! Him getting killed off like that is rough. Not that I'm complaining that we got back the original OPs, Matoro and Nuparu, but I wasn't expecting such a cruel fate for a guy who only had several minutes of free will. Regardless, I'm glad to see this continue and hope to see what happens next.
It's interesting you bring him up because originally he was going to play a more central role to the storyline. Matoro and Nuparu were actually not meant to come out until several episodes later, but since I don't have as much time to make these as I used to I decided to skip all the way to their fight to make sure it actually happens.
I had envisioned them fighting against a cool background since I started the animation, eventually that ended up being the waterfall and ocean you see. Originally they were going to be in the snow, but I settled for a more tropical paradise.
That water skiing sequence was out of this world! Completely unexpected and incredibly well done. The fight was so intense as well and everything from the effects, to the animation, to the music, to the sound design just meshed so perfectly.
The waterfall took it's sweet time, had to try about 30 different combinations of 100 different settings and also move the environment and place stones in certain places to get the water to move like I wanted it to.
It feels so surreal to see these amazing characters brought back to life in a way that far exceeds the quality seen in any of the CG Bionicle movies. The attention to detail is astounding, the animation is so smooth and lifelike, the camerawork so unique but never overbearing. An absolute true delight that you dedicate so much of your time and effort into creating such breathtaking short films. I can't wait to see the next part!
Thank you! Put a lot of effort into bringing their stop motion counterparts into the CGI realm. The goal was to make it seem like you are still seeing the toys, just in a different world.
Been getting a lot of nostalgic comments on my videos recently, my guess is many of you are going into your 20's and feel quite nostalgic about your teenage years.
