Hi! I'm a digital movie compositor and I started vidding in 2010. I'm 29 and I live in Montreal, Canada. I mostly vid Merlin right now, but I love to do collabs and vid other fandoms too (such as 9-1-1, Supernatural, Shameless US, The 100). I also watch a shitload of TV shows too~
In the entire series, I teared up many times especially when they lose one of their rescues, when they get into arguments, where they talked it out and/or where they just feel so confused about things and changes. However, in the entire series, Buck scenes always make me sob uncontrollably. I only learn about 911 a month ago and I binge watch most of them and I still remember these scenes that made me bite my knuckle so hard just so that my sobs can't escape (mind you, I am always emotional ever since I was a kid, doesn't matter that I am a guy, my friends got used to it XD ). Also, most of them are major scenes so they are repetitive? 1. When Buck got crushed by the ambulance, no I didn't cry just because of him, it was when Maddie said "He is so alone" while watching the news. (Also, when people starts to gather around the firetruck to help lift it up), Buck deserves so much, and he deserves those people's kindness, too. 2. During the Tsunami, I just couldn't when Buck voice crack while talking to Maddie about how he lost Chris. Add to the fact that when he see Eddie, he just freezes and his voice keeps on cracking as he control his voice. Also, his shouts for Chris' name is so agonizing to listen, too. 3. In his Begin episode, ooh! There are lots in here, when he was a teenager in a hospital bed, talking to Maddie and saying to himself that "I'm going to be something". It may be a common or cliché line for others, but it is not for me. He doesn't know what is happening but he still step up, and in that brief moment, I am glad that he believes in himself -that he will be able to overcome the invisible yet tangible hurdle in front of him. 3.1 Still in Begin episode, the sending of letter to Maddie while he is in his endeavor. It may look like a filler for some people, but it is not for me, I look at those letters as Buck's anchor. He is drifting in his pursuit of himself, and those letter is a reminder that there is somewhere, someone, that he can talk too. He may not be aware if Maddie is receiving the postcards or not, but the fact that his postcards doesn't get return means that it is being received by someone, and for me, that is something that he needed most, someone or even someplace, that he can share his happiness with. Buck is always a selfless person, maybe a bit roguelike with his approach but as Bobby says, his actions always come from his heart. 3.2 I just couldn't when he retell his brother's story to the firefam and when he said that he is just a spare. It is like, all of his development, all of his adventures in hope of finding himself and building his self worth got crushed by just a single confirmation. 4. When he and Taylor broke up, it is not so much so as the break up itself, but rather, the cause of it. I know people will say that, "so what? It's okay if he cheated but if his girlfriend do something, it is unforgivable?" I am not much of a Taylor fan (as a Buddie fan but mostly of Buck just being happy with whoever he wants to end up with), but was promised with that time, and by that season, I am already hell bent on making every promise with Buck come true. His trust is somewhat very precious because he always believe in the goodness of people despite being shown otherwise. 5. When he tell Bobby about his come dream, it is such a precious moment for me and I kept on telling myself that he is (Bobby) is his chosen family. I have read many comments saying negative thing about the Buckley's redemption arc. I do understand where they are coming from but I also want to understand Buck. Buck, who grows up trying to be seen by his parents finally got their attention. It is not easy to get rid of yourself of your own issue, his parents (may not be a good one) still play a part for Buck to become who he is now. Also, I am not the one that was wronged by the Buckley's parents, if the person who receives the most burnt forgave them, then, who am I, as an outsider looking in, to not forgive them? Tho, if they made another huge mistake, I'll make sure to include myself to raise the pitch-fork. sorry, I am rambling, I just found myself always getting passionate talking about Evan Buckley. I am from Ph with very busy schedule trying to make my living, and after watching 911, I started looking for jobs in the US... solely, LA or Hershey XD Just so that I can walk the places in where Buck walks when he was a kid and trying to understand his childhood. (not going to happen anytime soon, tho XD)

Some may saud .. even i said that merlin was sooooo stupid in his actions sometimes and he was sooo hang up on the prophecies especially season 5. Actually now i look at iy i feel like .. those actions proves that no matte how great warlock he is, he was just a human. Whoever was in his place with a human heart will do the exactly same thing he did
This is why I refuse to watch Season 6 - Buck's parents redemption and the sperm donor storyline, neither make any sense at all. Buck deserved so much better.
I get why you feel that way but season 6 has so many other good and amazing points and plots!! When any of the sperm donar and parents stuff came on I just skipped through the scenes if that helps?

I'm for the fixing his relationship with his parents. I was for him being a sperm donor or bisexual. Makes no sense at all. He is too fine to be with another fine men.

Perfect song! Buck deserved better! That's why he has so many problems now. Abandonment issues, feeling inadequate, needing to fix everything, wanting to cling to everyone. Poor baby.
