Hey you this is me, A.D. Ross with Novi Outdoors. This channel is dedicated to novice outdoors enthusiasts of all ages. When I first started fishing, I was finding it hard to identify topics and information that would provide the detailed knowledge and descriptions I was looking for. On this journey, I aim to shed light on the basics, provide subtle entertainment, and develop a community of Novi Faithful from all over to get together and discuss the topics they love without fear of rejection, bein made fun of, or anything negative that would deter them from reaching the goals they seek in the great outdoors. I look forward to embarking on this journey with each and every one of you, and hope you enjoy the content we're driven to produce.
Again, I thank you for joining us, and wish you nothing but the best in all you seek to achieve in life because we only got one to live. And remember, in the beginning, we all had to start somewhere!!
Have you ever played Fallout: New Vegas? You have the same style shirt as a character in that game named Benny and you talk like him 😅 Oh, and I can’t wait to use my roster tail this weekend.
@@NoviOutdoors 4 things other things always in my go bag, water filtration tablets, my best hunting knife, Paracord and duct tape flat wrapped with my fishing lines and lures.
Those are great items, for sure! Always remember the 5 C’s of survival: cutting, combustion, cover, container, and cordage. Anything additional is always a plus!!
Definitely wasn’t shaking these trebles! Can’t tell you how many close calls we’ve had of gettin hooked. I’d rather be safe than sorry (for the fishes sake, too)
I use high vis line on charter trips for striper. The currents are fkd and lead to some pretty big tangles. It helps you get untangled pretty fast. Or, in any situation that you are using a leader. Hivis filler to clear 6ft leader
I love how there’s an application for just about anything! In my opinion, that’s what makes fishing so tough when you’re a beginner. Learning these things takes time, and I appreciate the insight you’re able to provide for myself and our viewers. Thank you!
I know it, mine was blowing up with them to and I decided to go for it! Needed a rangefinder as well, and they had the blind and rangefinder in a bundle deal so I grabbed that. It definitely works, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out this season!!
It’s takes a bit of time gettin use to, don’t give up! Make sure that tension knob it set so your bait can fall but stops once it hit the ground until to get comfortable, then adjust as needed. Most importantly, have fun!!
Hey brother! We practice at my dad's, and get a game plan together. We shoot at 25,30,35,and 40. Depending on which area we're hunting. I have a range finder, so I try and find a tree straight for my climber, around 30yd from their trail, water, food. I put my climber up and range find power points around the spot. That way you know how far the deer is when you shoot when he comes out, and walks past my power point. I use a compound bow,and crossbow. Some bows you don't want to shoot far,and others you can shoot 50yds. Really have to find out what your bow can shoot,at how far Depending on the bow. Good thing about a bow, you can practice shoot at camp, home, anytime. Good luck! I'll be in Leesberg, GA next weekend for labor day getting camp together!! It's that time of the year!!🦌🤒🍻
Thank you for that feedback, my friend! We’d like to get back into doin more of the longer videos, and boy do we have a lot of things to iron out before that season starts!!
It’s like breaking in a new baseball glove, a new pair of sneakers, or a new car. Right out the box everything is tight and brand new, breaking it in before you use it loosens things up a bit and makes everything work better. At least that’s our opinion on the matters. In the end, you do what works best for you, but give it a shot sometime!
Try just Kool aid. Grape kool-aid is the best. Pour it on a stump, and the eat the stump down!lol. We used it a couple years ago at our camp stand to see how good it works, it works great! There is different recipes on utube. It's pretty cool tho, the deer like the kool-aid more than regular tho, has to be grape!
We used the pre-made grape with the sugar and kool-aid together in a gallon jug. Poured the liquid over the stump then the rest of the pre-made powder over that.
Dude I seriously want to gain confidence with a popper and a walking top water. I've just discovered the whopper plopper and I am now completely obsessed with all things top water!
All it takes is time and practice! Run those top waters at dawn and dusk for your best chances at success while gettin familiar with it, you’ll be glad you did!!
