Since I didn't really get to say much at the time, I'll say how I feel here. This game was absolutely monumental. I, along with many other people have created countless amazing memories with this game over the past decade. In the few hours since this stream, I have not been able to stop thinking about all the fun I've had with this game over the years. I was cracking jokes during the stream, but the gravity of the situation didn't set in until the end was imminent. On the "The Crew Unlimited" discord, (which is a discord server full of people who loved The Crew) , there are some very intelligent people who are working on a server emulator, which essentially means, if they succeed, you will be able to play the crew again. I am incredibly grateful that people with this level of both passion for this game, and technical expertise exist. I really hope, for the good of the whole community, that they succeed in their goal and I wish them all the best. In the server, one of the mods made a post saying how it was one of the most depressing game shutdowns they'd ever seen, as so many long-time players saw out their last moments in the game playing as they had always played. So many memories and experiences halted in a matter of seconds. The post was ended with a stylised picture which said "See you soon, USA", which honestly, hit me in the feels. It makes me sad as it encapsulated all the emotions and fun the community had, but also gives us hope as we may get to play the game again in the not-too-distant future.
I've noticed a few more views appearing on this video over the past few days after the video has been lying stagnant for the best part of the year. I'm assuming that this is because summer is coming and people are researching places to go on holiday. If this is the case, I'd really recommend Salou as its a great place to go that is (relatively speaking) inexpensive, there's a lively atmosphere and there are plenty of things to do here and plenty of places to eat and engage in leisure activities. The average temperature in July is around 30⁰C/86⁰F and usually dry and sunny, only around 4-5 hrs of rain over the course of 2 days were observed over the 11 days I was there.
Thanks! The texture pack that I use is a ray-tracing texture pack that I downloaded from a website on PC. Unfortunately I'm not sure about any texture packs for the PlayStation edition. If you're on ps5 there might be similar texture packs available
