Please dont bring "black" over here, black is not a thing overhere in malaysia. Im malay and im having black skin and my indian buddy siva also black, we dont call each other black. Black is a western culture, just dont bring it here. We respect everybody as human and skin is just external. Please refer tourself as african if that what you meant. And finally, i dont understand why you guys could accept the "black" label imposed by white caucasian. If you think it is a derragatory label, you shouldn't accept it. Dont use it.

:) Welcome to Malaysia! For this video it was the Canon G7x Mark III. Lately I've been using my phone more (Iphone 12 pro). You don't need to get any specific equipment now. Just start with what you have now and as time goes on upgrade your equipment. You can use your current phone and edit with a free editing software on your laptop. If you prefer to edit with your phone you can use a free app called Inshot. We need more representation of Africans in Malaysia so go for it!

We in Malaysia do not differentiate between people because of skin color. For example our Indians don't insult for being dark skinned. Like the people of the African continent, we accept it like others because our religion, Islam, forbids insulting people because of an unattractive face or skin color.
Many countries dont give out citizenship to people who are culturally very different. E.g in Liberia and Sierra Leonne the constitution says you need to be Black and African in descent to be eligible for citizenship. Many other Asian countries where citizenship is possible e.g Singapore there is a strong preference for those of the local races e.g z Chinese, Malay, Indian. This is a sort of protectionist move because many countries dont want too many drastic cultural differences. I think by now you would have figured Malaysians are quite reserved, more so with foreigners. But on a one to one level I am sure you would be able to have some close friendships. We just need time to trust foreigners because unfortunately there have been bad press and experiences especially with foreigners of certain countries. So you just need to give people time to get to know you.
