Sure is! Ibanez RB850, 1985. I got into Fujigen factory Ibanez thanks to the big ‘81 Roadster RS924 I picked up while studying in London in the 90’s. This 850 is my #1 though. Hot passive pickups, light weight, and makes the sounds I hear in my head
I love opening a show this way, with a nice slow burn and a little something smooth and classic sounding. This vibe is what I grew up hearing on the radio...
You know technically speaking you could go in and be a music teacher. And teach children how to do music and how to love music. And they could see that through you and get into it. Since you are a musician and so like that that would benefit you and benefit them if they had you as a music teacher. I'm not sure what subject you teach in your middle school. But music is a very important thing to learn. When I was in elementary school. We were supposed to be getting a recorder to learn how to play those. My music teacher hated my guts. I brought him money to buy my recorder. She told me I wasn't getting the recorder and she took my money from me. And told me I was a horrible job and go sit in the corner. I walked out with the principal's office and told the principal and I told the principal that the teacher said. And she said did you get your money back I said nope. She walked me down in the classroom and she goes you need to hand her back her money. And she goes she never handed me any money. I said ask the kids will tell you the truth. They all stood behind me and said yep she had her money she just took it and told her she wasn't getting the recorder. So my principal walked up to the teacher she goes you hand me that money you had it now you're getting written up. About 3 months later she was fired.
