Twitter has become some kind of political platform. Known for it's disinformation and bots. Still companies and (left-wing) politicians keep using the platform.
Robots can behave in any way u program them, if u want it to prefer the friends lives over strangers u can do that too, its a matter of the engineering not the robots lack of understanding.
Oh what bullshit is paid with my German GEZ fares. 1. 1h netflix ~ 1 mile driving : Thats ridiculous low, imagine how many carbon dioxide i would produce more if i would do sport in that time. 2. AI trainung : Training a AI is a "one time thing" - the KI will maybe replace workforce which drove daily to work or even needed annual a flight to a training facility forever. 3. CO2 Saving of 96%/h : WTF!! That means any conference longer than 1:02:30 save more than 100% and reduce CO2, HEUREKA we found the ultimate solution against global warming.
yes, but no. We all would probably benefit from less screen time and deleting old data is a good practice. The thing is that the Internet is very centralised and could easily be powered regeneratively, which is not true for planes. So instead of restricting everyday life here it would be much more useful to progress a switch to CO2 neutral energy. Putting this weight on individual behaviour and not on national plans for energy is misleading and unhelpful
There are a lot of movie, news, and information sites out there, so I don't get why Google keeps pushing Wikipedia, iMDB, CNN, etc, to the top of results. That's why I stopped using Google. I noticed a lack of variety in it's results.
It is not a conspiracy theory it is a fact that 1st person shooters easy access to guns and generations of irresponsible police assisted and often racist falsely patriotic irresponsible gun lobby youth brainwashing and culture programming campaigns which 1st person shooters are a part of are both creating problems that would not otherwise exist and exacerbating them.
I honestly love this. There are times I just want to make a whole bunch of strawberry jam, or stock up on banana chips, and I just don't have the ability to buy enough to realistically do so. Not without breaking the bank or causing the store to say something about it. Being able to contact a farmer and say "hey! I am wanting about 10kg of rejected grapes to turn into sultanas for all 6 families worth of Christmas fruit cakes in a few months" would be life changing
The trolley problem, I'll probably pull the lever if one of those five people is a very important person. Sophia seems to be a machine operated by humans. I don't observe any signs of consciousness or deception. Her statement about" you're probably the most intelligent and beautiful I've ever meet" was likely a preprogrammed response as were her other responses. I believe we should hold accountable those who invented her or other AI Robot if anything seriously goes wrong in the future.
Do you really want to know what we are thinking about it? Allright for sure you do not like it but unfortunately it is reality! First thing first, we are using camera rig to capturing human faces or bodies in just less than a seconds and asking the actor to stay still for many seconds to shining different type of the lights on his/her skin is ridiculous and questioning this matter why are we using camera rig at all? (I will explain the different lights). About your model do not need to mention it they just retopologies it to one of their premade faces for just making a simple presentation for you and this is not even close to the final product. And now about different colors light you saw back there, the reason they are doing this is to mimic most of the artist job as creating Albedo map, specular map, subsurface scattering map (SSS) but problem is no matter what kind of lights you are using since some maps like SSS is not separatable from scan diffuse maps and it is baked in the diffuse map and mainly what makes their works unrealistic and detectable from real person related to this part except animations, hairs and etc... (Diffuse map is Albedo map with baked, Shadows, lights, normal skin details, SSS and etc. and before you think about it no one could separate these maps from diffuse map so albedo must be created separately). Also, I can see that the face they created for you in eyeballing might be so close to you but if you notice it has proportions issues and it is really obvious this model is similar to you, but it is not you.
