This RU-vid Cannel is about Artisanal and Small-scale Mining (ASM).
The number of ASM videos from all over the world on RU-vid (check my PLAYLISTS) inspired me to open this channel and to contribute with a few of my own videos.
In early 2022, Data from 81 countries allow for an estimation of 49.0 million miners directly engaged in ASM (range: minimum 42.5, maximum 63.8 million). 26% of them (12.6 million) are women. 37% of them (17.9 million) are dedicated to gold mining (i.e. ASGM miners).
Evidence of ASM exists in 18 additional countries, where the ASM population is not quantified. Additionally, in 19 countries it is most likely that ASM exists, but no documentation has been found so far. In total it is therefore estimated that ASM exists in 118 countries.

trabajan muy reglamentariamente seguro usan mercurio y lo desechan por donde sea,no tienen técnica y trabajan depredando la hermosa selva esta gente deben instruirse
el mercurio tiene un bajo punto de fusión, este al calentarse sale desprendido en forma de gas,por esto, el lugar donde lo esta calentando tiene una chimenea, para evitar su expansión y una posible inhalación. Este método es uno de los más usados, pero es muy contaminante. En caso de que se realice a gran escala podría recuperarse aplicando un sistema parecido al de destilación, si no me equivoco.
E buen metodo, solo hay que buscar como controlar el dano por sustancias quimicas??? pero me gusta ese metodo de moler Dios los bendiga a todos los companeros mineros.
