Very nice! The MAC's are cool locomotives, for sure. I ran quite a few of them, during my railroad career. This is certainly is a nice model. Obviously, the fuel tank is incorrect, as are the trucks, otherwise it is pretty accurate. It looks fine on O72, really. Even though it states that it can run on the narrower curves, it would overhang way too much on them. Even on O72, the big, articulated's really overhang. The outer main on my layout is O96 and O72, only because I can't find the old K-Line O81 tubular. I can run my post-war steam engines, which tip-over easily on narrower curves, fairly quickly around my layout I don't have any of the new, big diesels, as I run post-war and MPC, mostly, but they are cool and the sound-sets are a step-up from the older engines. Either way, a great review and an excellent video, as always.
Nice, equipment from 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team; 3rd Infantry Division returning to Fort Stewart, GA from the National Training Center (Training) Rotation 24-09 @ Fort Irwin, CA which ran July-20 thru Aug-2.
Please do a video showing an overview of this layout and the "trackplan"... this kinda looks like something I'd like to use for inspiration fornmy coming small portable N project...
i wasnt railfanning, but was parked on a public street waiting for my granddaughter to get off work and security came out , and told me i couldnt park there because it was private property , i corrected him and stayed where i was
Very nice! I like the way you have things set-up. The town is quite nice and the scenery is very good, for sure. I'm eliminating most of my MTH accessories, as they just take up too much space. I'll be using a couple of them on a little 4x5 Marx layout. My layout is a 24x18 L, set-up for continuous running. Hopefully, when I start doing the scenery on my layout, it turns out as nicely as yours. Actually, I'm not very good at scenery, but Caleb Easter offered to give me some tips and pointers, when the time comes. An excellent video, as always.
