My name is Steve Moore - The Mad Drummer. I appreciate you stopping by.
Let me first say, I’ve never had any interest in uploading videos to RU-vid. I watch RU-vid constantly, but never really viewed “myself” as a content creator. I’ve always seen myself as an entertainer (not an educator). Plus, there are thousands of videos of my playing on RU-vid already!!! Several of those have gone viral. Perhaps I should just leave well enough alone??? LOL
However a friend of mine recently said: “You don’t have to be a Berkley Graduate to offer something of VALUE. People want to hear from you.” So I decided to get to work…
The 1st phase was to have a studio built. The 2nd phase was to equip the studio with the needed gear (lights, cameras, audio). The 3rd phase was to begin recording.
I’m please to say, the first of many videos has already been filmed, and is being edited at this very moment.
Every year or so, RU-vid randomly recommends the Awesome Chris Farley Energy drummer to me. Every year I dutifully watch... every year this dude amazes me 🤘
I remember the comment section from 10-14 years ago and how people were laughing with the band and their antics. Reading it now and - holy shit people have become such massive cunts online since then. Sad part is there's probably a bunch of adults among these comments even though they all sound like they're written by some angsty idiotic children.
Dude didn't miss a beat the entire time, deciding to showboat and actually be entertaining is an integral part of being a performer. You should try it some time and tell me how it goes
True, it's the fact that he swings his arms all stupid and still stays perfectly on beat without over or under sounding the toms and symbols that makes him a skilled drummer.
Lol, what? They're together sure. This is pretty simplistic though, so if they're a performing band, they better be together. Fun fact, you can actually get children to this level. It's called band class.
Unfortunately the band dissolved many years ago. Dave Queen (the singer for Mistress) actually stopped by my house a few days ago. I hadn’t seen him in very long time.
This is a very basic drum riff, so there's really not much way of telling his skills. He's just waving his arms around. Nothing to do with his playing whatsoever.
