This whole ost didn't need to be such a banger for what the game is LMAO. Still though It really is one of my all-time favorite childhood games and soundtracks. Good job
I haven't played this since it was originally released so I don't remember the actual difficulty but seeing those slow fireballs and being given plenty of room to dodge Bowser's predictable looking jumps this final battle looks like a total cakewalk.
Also only Bowser's top half deals damage, so small Mario or ducking is fine. The hardest part is getting out of the way of the final slam so he doesn't take you down with him.
Just, wow!👏Thanks for making this! It must have been a real labor of love remixing the entire game. Your Sagila's cave remix is the best on YT. That's absolutely worth dropping as its own video for playlists.
Thank you for the cover - I didn't own it but had played this back in the day - the first stage theme was definitely memorable and you do a good job improving it. I don't think I ever made it much past the overhead stage but listened to several other tracks here and they are good as well. Sagila's Cave (at least this version which is my first) seems atypical of game soundtracks of that era - I could easily see Michael Jackson or another 80s pop / rock star doing a commercial radio song of this for a mainstream audience.
Absolutely dope remakes of all the classic stages of this classic game. Was having great memories playing this game way back in the early 90s as a kid and how hard it was getting past the final 3 Worlds(6, 7 & 8).
Solid cover and I appreciate the upload and gave you a thumbs up but for me personally I think this style of music (Bach-like?) is more suitable for a a classical cover rather than techno (of course there is room for both). Seeing this gave me the idea to see what else is out there - I was looking for harpsichords and violins which I didn't find but this piano keyboard cover by Alessio Zucca Music is pretty nice (and kind of out of the blue as there seems to be almost no other game soundtrack covers on this guy's channel): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lhQyt5bWFG0.html
@@retrogamingmusichq5677 Thanks for the offer! If you make it, I will definitely listen and give feedback (if I overlook it in my subscriptions, feel free to nudge me)
Just found your channel , and i love it , the Guile soundtrack from super street fighter 2 brought me here , you should do a remix on Gerudo Valley from Zelda ! Love your work!
if World 5 was first of the "hard" worlds that tested your knowledge...world 6 in SMB3 was the world that made me always want to skip it with a whistle...and into more pain as a child.
