I learned to ride a penny board in 10 mins. No lie. I just got on it and decided to have no fear and push as hard as possible as if I knew what I was doing. Its all in your mind how fast you learn
A street skateboard is a stable deck and with fast bearings and super-soft wheels it'll do the job I should think. I also think a nickel-board or equivalent is a better option than a penny-board, portable enough and not as unstable as a penny. Electric board? Nah then I'd rather get an e-kickbike. Speaking of kickbikes, if you can deal with being seen riding one then they're probably the best choice for most.
If it's a skate park it's a skate Park. playgrounds are designed for kids to play and skate parks are designed for skaters to skate. Skate parks are not play grounds a kid will be running around not knowing a skater will be crashing into them.
5:56 sweet pic! I grew up skating vert in the Bay Area, Ca in the 80's. Haven't skated vert in about 20 years. In Washington City, Utah we are getting a new park that should have vert #washingtonwheelspark and I have been so stoked. Can't wait. Thanks for the inspiration!
I skate and i dont even wear trasher i dont even have any clothing by a skating brand or worn by pro skaters im always seen skateing in my school uniform haha or in casual clothing lol
I will learn this soon, looks great. but bro, you say "dont be insecure about skateboarding" yet you also talk about "do not this or that cause it looks bad" or "you dont wanna be that guy who can only do grab tricks". why not? its totally fine to only do grab tricks or whatever people have been skating for decades and the ollie was literally not in existance yet, so don't treat it like its a must have or something. I do like ollies alot as well as related tricks, but it's not essential to skateboarding. thats just elitist gatekeeping.
It's definitely doable but belt drive would be the way to go since having pneumatic tires are a must for safety. Either that or some really soft tires like madwheelz or those solid rubber tires.
