I remember thinking I would look stupid or people would make fun of me for asking questions. My college days were some of the best times in my life. I made my lifelong friends there. I remember my mom crocheting a dress for a girl at church who was getting married. It was her “going away” dress for leaving on her honeymoon. It was blue, and I remember being the “mannequin” for her to fit it onto since I was same size as Barbara. Barb must be 75+ by now…

My grandmother crocheted part of my senior prom dress back in 1993 and I still have it looking brand new. It was white crochet with actual crochet thread on top and velvet in the middle with a kind of bridal flowing bottom I think it was ahead of its time LOL. My mother still has that dress.
