10 out of 10, especially for this latest video... even on the subject of the successful twin peaks gala, which even I myself have also ventured over (with my mum for company) to marvel at the sight of heritage diesel mania to behold, we stayed in an apartment in matlock by the way, and the next day we ventured over to the midland railway-butterley, I myself have been to three heritage railways in one weekend.... Peak Rail (at Matlock), the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway (at Wirksworth), and over to the Midland Railway-Butterley... all three of which are in Derbyshire.
Been to the EVR many times and didn’t know this channel existed. Would love to see more behind the scenes. Stock on shed and progress reports as well as news from across the railway. Also… these shots are awesome! Love the drone footage and editing is really good!
I must visit the railway...only in a neighbouring county, yet last time I was there, there was elephant grass in the goods yard and it must have been c. 1964. I picked up an abandoned shunter's pole and the whole area appeared to have been forgotten by BR. No signs of life, neither mechanical nor human.
Excellent close up shots of my O scale layout - Ullapool. I really should have spotted the cobwebs on the 'Station' sign though. Well done - another interesting episode.👍
Love your new channel! Haven't yet visited the railway but hope to in the future. I'm particularly interested in your Derby Lightweight DMU restoration, could this please feature in a future video? Cheers, keep up the good work 👍
