I like Krogers delivery service because they use their own drivers save me money all around the closest store round 30 miles round trip if go to the fiscal store I take time out of your day can you end up buying items you see on the Shelf you know like impulse buys if you order online you save more money not buying impulse items I'm a boost member identify just get free deliveries electric coupons only shop once a month most of the time that's another way to save money too because every time we go to a store you get more than you need only thing I wish Krogers would do rollover your fuel points because we don't have no place around here take Kroger's fuel points or just take a dollar to off your bill each month with more points you have for shopping with Kroger's and maybe add a Pharmacy delivery they may not can do that can all drivers have to be bonded because it's prescription drugs I could see that but I really don't have nothing bad to say about Kroger's delivery service once in a while get something that not up to Stand overall I'm happy with the service
That’s not it’s not Kroger employees delivering out of my area. I work for Insticart and we do all of Krogers deliveries and there batch pay is terrible like $5/20 items/5 miles. So if you don’t tip then your not going to get good service
I'm in the Houston area and just saw this offered through the Kroger app. I'm familiar with online grocery ordering which I had been doing for several years in another state. Moved here less than a month ago and am seriously considering Boost. Anyone in the Houston area using this? Thanks!
I might consider it if the app was less problematic, it's pretty bad. Also, personally i have no interest in gas points. The main selling points are refrigerated trucks and very early delivery times. Walmart+ on the other hand is good because you can order regular walmart store items without (generally) a shipping charge. 👍🏼
I am from Tampa Florida. .and lived in Windermere and Orlando Florida. . when I lived there. there was no Kroger stores.. Are there Kroger stores in Florida now? I currently live in Colorado and have King Soopers out here. .which is a part of Kroger
I used wal mart plus for about half a year and had nothing but problems with it because of the 3rd party delivery walmart uses. Tons of missing items due to theft, the item was picked, but somewhere between the store and my house it disappeared. Several times the entire order was placed at the wrong address, so I had to walk up and down the street to find hundreds of dollars of groceries. So I canceled walmart. Ive been using kroger for around 10 months now and have had way less problems over all with kroger. Mostly smashed bread, or items out of stock with no substitute picked. Kroger is more expensive to shop at than walmart by far, but ill pay the extra for better, more reliable service.
"I recommend shopping on platforms that have more transparency" Good advice but if by that you mean Amazon, the situation is only marginally better, since it's not difficult to get scammed on Amazon as well. If you follow Atomic Shrimp you have probably seen his video on fake memory sticks sold on Amazon, and there are other examples: I personally found fake Playstation 4 controllers being sold as genuine at a small discount.
If Kroger doesn't want customers to use click on coupons, that state May Use Again they shouldn't offer them! Try calling! The virtual assistant is wayyyy irritating! Then speak to an associate! Yikes! They will claim you already used coupons previously, and if it says May Use Again they " can't see that"! You have to argue for every nickel and dime they owe you ! If they say they'll give you store credit don't trust them, they will remove it or half of it. We have Boost and get other shoppers items often. Stuff we don't want or use. I feel like this huge company is going to nickel and dime me to a stroke!
60 bucks for a year.. thats $3 a month.... no tips allowed....no delivery fee.. order on doordash one time and its automatically 5 bucks just for delivery each time. So having all your pop, water and food delivered for $3 a month cant be beat.. thats cheaper than me hoping in the car twice a month to goto krogers in gas alone. and i only live 1.5 miles away. THE ONLY DOWNFALL IVE HAD is deli meats.. they never seem to have it right its either super thick or shredded.
Have used Kroger weekly for 18 months and we love it. Thank you for an excellent review. You explained the entire system in just enough detail to understand.
What's wrong with Kroger Boost? A lot. First of all their APP sucks. Put together by a relative? It's like a career just trying to get the order through.. freezes up ..takes items out of the cart...awful! If you "check" that your open to substitutions...no one cares...don't have your bread..they won't offer you a substitute.." tough nuggies, no bread for you". and when you groceries are delivered, missing items, opened items,( too many stuffed together in too few bags), don't settle on " store credit" as Kroger will take it back without telling you. If they say they'll refund you closely follow up, many times they don't, and will lie to get you off the phone. Maybe Kroger doesn't care to improve, maybe Boost needs more competition.
My current Winn Dixie is just across the street from Publix. Not only is Winn Dixie way more expensive than Publix but they are junkie inside and out. Best case scenario, replace it with Aldi, yesss!
I appreciate the information you gave concerning high- yield savings accounts. This podcast is interesting and informative and I really enjoy listening to it. Keep up the good work, Gary
I really appreciate your information regarding high yield savings accounts. This podcast was very informative and I enjoyed it . Keep up the good work, Gary
Thank you, Gary, that was very interesting! I actully got a travel credit card before with no annual fee the first year and it automatically saved me a couple hundred dollars off of airline tickets I used it for. I was glad to save with it! I will enjoy these podcasts!
What a great podcast this is!! Thanks so much, Gary! This was very interesting and informative and I learned a lot from it. I am looking forward to your next podcast!
I use all 3 of those. Ibotta adds up pretty fast. Their Thanksgiving Turkey meal Giveaway has been great! Hope they do it again this year! Several coupons are high value, it just takes a few weeks to earn a $25 gift card! Thanks, Gary, for the good overview!
I really enjoyed this! Your programs are always interesting and informative. It will be interesting to see how all these changes will affect these stores in the future . Thanks! 😊
This scares me. I haven't heard of those other two stores you mentioned. All I know is that Aldi is my favorite grocery store. I hope it doesn't change here in the north. Thanks Gary!
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see! I don’t imagine much will change outside of the southeast for Aldi. I do think some big changes are in store for Winn Dixie though.
That was an interesting overview of what might happen. Our Winn Dixie is pretty decent, but I would welcome if prices went down. I do hope we get an Aldi closer to us though! Thanks for another good video!
A podcast sounds exciting but I don't know how to log into one. As far as suggestions for your RU-vid channel, I like what you are doing now. Not real hardcore financial stuff, just tips for saving money on credit cards, groceries, shopping, etc. Thanks Gary.
Sounds great! Thanks for the suggestions! As far as the podcast, if you’re interested in checking it out, it will be coming out on this channel every other Friday as a video version starting on September 29th. No need to search/login to other podcast apps if you don’t want to. 😊
I’ve ordered from Temu and SHEIN , I have found that Temu clothing are more cheaply made than SHEIN. I did not know they had bad labor problems. That makes me reconsider my purchasing 😢
Hi G3 😊this is Kelliann from Indiana! Thank you for the video , I’ve never used boost, but I’m going to check into it. We shop Kroger much more than any other grocery store. You have Great content!!
Great video Gary! My overall experience with Kroger online ordering is great! I too wish there were gas stations in my area and I’ve often had products I’ve ordered that are unavailable. I’m thankful Kroger came to Florida with more reasonable food prices on my products and for the delivery. Thank you for the review! I learned a few other things.⭐️👏
I really like this video! It is full of helpful information and is very much appreciated. I am a regular Kroger Bonus customer and am very pleased with their service, the quality of their food, and the money I have saved from them. Our grocery bill has been appreciably less since we have been ordering from Kroger. I can recommend this service .
This could be very beneficial to many people. I wouldn't use it because our Kroger stores (under the name of Pick 'n Save) have a clearance corner that changes every day. Some items are 75% off and they aren't even expired. So I have to look at it all. Also they have day old bakery that changes every day. I love to grocery shop and compare prices and I have a lot of free time. Thank you Gary!
Absolutely, I think it's definitly worth checking out if you don't already have a preferred grocery store/delivery option! That's great to hear about Pick 'n Save...a clearance section like that is awesome to have & can save you lots of $$$!
You pointed out a lot of good things. I love Kroger delivery too, it has saved me a lot of money and time. Very convenient. Thanks for another interesting video! 😊
CORRECTION: A small correction regarding the Miami Distribution Center. Kroger has actually already opened their new 60,000-square-foot distribution center in Opa Locka, a community just outside Miami. This DC opened in June 2022 and serves residents of Miami-Dade County & surrounding areas.
