This was a really great conversation! It's often hard to (well read: hard FOR ME to 😂) remain calm when I'm faced with certain conversations. Particularly when dealing with people online. Learning how to engage with folks with virtue has been a skill I'm really trying to work on now. I've gotten a lot better. And I feel like many of the points here will be great to try to put into practice. 👏🏿
I tend to fall apart and feel so helpless when I'm facing troubles. I have been crying to God more often. Just this Friday/Saturday we were dealing with car troubles and I began to cry. My mind began spiraling, but eventually I began to pray and that evening a friend offered to take our family of 7 to mass on Sunday. Our van has been acting a bit more normal which is amazing. I think it helps to bring peace in my heart to just turn to prayer in these moments. Btw, audio was kinda choppy for me. I heard most of the message, but just FYI. I love this topic of discussion so thank you for sharing!
