Hi, I'm Francesca! This channel is dedicated to the memory of Rory Gallagher (2nd March 1948 - 14th June 1995). No copyright infringement intended. The purpose of the channel is to keep Rory’s music alive in all people's memories and to introduce him to those who never heard about him. I was born in 1978 when he was already a star and unfortunately, I’ve discovered him only recently. Rory touched my heart instantly with his amazing musical skills, his passion and dedication to his job and of those who loved him. Believe me, once you let Rory touches your heart, he will be with you forever and you will be a blessed person! Rory would say: "Hope you like it"
I used to have Irish Tour 74 with an unbelievable sound system in the 70s...driving around listening and singing along...oh yeh...kept me sane...miss you Rory...RIP my friend...
It is almost impossible to point out a favorite among all Rory Gallaghers fantastic songs, but this one could be one of them. That beautiful guitar solo is absolutely awesome!
You started the video with"Edged in Blue". That's blues guitar like I've never heard. I fell in love with Rorys music when he released "Against The Grain". I own every album he ever released including the after-death stuff.
1969…the Y.M. Kirkcaldy…Taste! They didn't half shine. By the way, it is a small hall, you sat on the floor and just appreciated what you were watching.
Thanks a million for this video and all the others so good at feeding our passion for this marvelous person, I will say how I call Rory: "the happiness factory" (factrory!)
Beautiful song and video I just wonder if rory himself used a "waw" gear...Sorry Iam french and don't know the word to talk about this sound effect we never hear in others tracks
Watching this clip again made me go philosophical. From birth to death, talents unearthed, joy to seek, grief to reep. Short indeed, but for what mystery?
I dont know who told me that he died because the police shoot him by accident, because they thought he was supporting the IRA on ireland, i know its not true, but... There was some musician that actually happened that to him/her? Thank you!
