Just wanted to chime in I have the QSC KS212C dual 12” subwoofer and my new EV EKX15sp absolutely puts it to shame in bass output and deep bass tones. While the QSC is great it limits out extremely fast the 3600 watts def does nothing greater and it’s always in cardioid mode. The EV however is switchable for cardioid and the wood cabinet design and the lighter weight puts it ahead. I love QSC but the 212c just does not have the power it should draw and I’m a big QSC fan. Will be selling my KS212c for another EV EKX15sp. I hate the wide design of the QSC it is too wide under a table while the EKX is so compact, lightweight and perfect. Can’t wait to sell it. And I paid $1099 for the EV I got a killer deal.
A light haze in a barn is an incredible “dusty” effect. I use it at most barn weddings with movers. Movers are in my base package. Uplights are an add on.
Heyy! Thanks a ton for this video! Really helpful. But among these 4, using AUX input, which do you think has the best low end outdoors? I want to use it for DJing (mainly disco/house/techno) outdoors for lets say ~20-30 people. The only real deal breaker is that it needs to be battery powered cos not always you find a power source outdoors.
Is this mic good or have problems? A comment has been made here that there is a problem with the wire inside the mic. Is it true? Looking forward to buy this mic, can you let me know if this mic is suitable for long time use without any problem??
So...disposable? They can't be that bad, right? I really appreciate your hard work on the vid. So can I ask now that the vid is over 4 years old, do you still have these speakers? How did they perform after all this time. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much.
For a real test, you need to set up your speakers and play music and LISTEN and FEEL the system. Spend time dialing it all in to get it to sound the best that you can. Then tell us, your interested viewers, your thoughts.
This year we've had 3.00 ceremony and done at midnight. But usually done earlier. In the past years done at 1.00 PM was the norm. Few DJs in our area are talking to venues and asking to be done no later than midnight. Venues are happy to be done earlier we find
Weddings should NEVER be any time other than 4-10 or 5-11. THATS IT. Any other timeline is dumb. Most guests aren’t going to stay later than 10, and ceremony should be 20-30mins max, followed by cocktail hour. Grand entrance around 5:45-6, dancing starting at 7:30. End at 10. These coordinator and couples are outta pocket if they think otherwise
I’ve used the everse 8 in the Streatham park London, someone came and asked what speaker I use he liked the sound and he’s going to buy one, then on 6 July on a coach to Portsmouth Beach all those who had other brand of battery poured speakers switched the off and enjoyed the sound of everse8 one asked me where he can buy one. I love electro voice products.
These speakers are good and clear for high frequencies (HF) when paired with an active subwoofer like a 12 or 15 inch. However, ensure that the volume, bass and treble knobs are set at unity level.
