I declined $5k for cab corners and 2 fenders on a F350 dump truck. Quote $500/ panel plus metal work plus $1500-2k in materials. $500/ panel was price in 1999 (last century for the kids).

That is not a 4k that's more like a little 1200 maybe just going off the fuses I believe I seen 3 40 amp fuses and a better box as well preferably a custom made box

Either low on transmission or the valve body is stuck. Valve body cleaning is not hard and does not require the transmission to come out. There are videos on here but an old school transmission shop is probably the best option for a valve body cleaning. Good luck!
I got part of the same problem - Itll either do that or itll extend and lockup then it may start or it may not- My flexplate is good i put up to six shims and it does the same as with no shims, What gives

My last comment too fam I don’t want to override your post , but what I mean by guidance for example : a ls 5.3 is superior in every way imaginable to a sbc - LS has : 6 bolt mains vs 2-4 / aluminum heads from the factory vs aftermarket / block can hold 1000+ hp easy ( iron ) vs sbc 400-500 / roller cam , rockers and lifters vs flat tapper and hyd / gross weight / and out the box hp a ls based engine is making almost 300 hp out the junk yard vs building one and not even making 300 hp : and the list goes on and on less moving parts means less failures / technology/ man I can go on forever . Just giving you some honest truth , proof , and motivation!!! Peace gang

Get an iron block out of a truck or van and do it from there. Will handle more of a beating while also LOVING boost. Or even a 5.3 Iron block out of a truck or SUV from no later than 2005 or 2006. They'll handle a little more.
@@xsclusivemomentz8167SBC = small block chevy, which the 5.3 is one. the 350 SBC is a 5.7 so its higher displacement and different parts but same concept
@ryanjan329 Oh okay well that’s cool . A couple of friends was telling me to build a ls because I can relatively make the same power for a better cost . I just haven’t entered those waters yet. I believe the next build is going to be a 383 Stroker though
