I'm just a huge NBA fan who wants to enrich RU-vid's archives with videos of players who haven't got the respect they deserve. I do not strive for any kind of compensation or financial good through the use of these clips.
In NBA of early 80s there were so many great SF who played bigger than their size and they were all amazing offensive players, Bernard King, Adrian Dantley, Mark Aguirre, Dominique Wilkins, James Worthy, Alex English, George Gervin, Julius Erving, obviously Larry Bird, Bobby Jones, Tripucka and even in Europe there were great SF who could have been easily 20ppg guys in NBA, Oscar Smidth, Drazen Dalipagic, Antonello Riva, SanEpifanio, Jamchy, Delibasic..
Bruh Why Are We (LeBron Fans) Even Explaining This Shit.. 1 MVP & 2 FMVP Has No Business In A Conversation With A Nigga That Got 4 Of Each 😂 16-6. Argue Wit Ya Momma 👑
Random thought: this was shortly after Kareem wrapped filming Airplane, which completed principal photography in August 1979. The film wasn't released until June-July 1980.
This was a rough season for the Lakers, somewhat of a rebuilding season (2004-2005). First season without Shaq (traded to Miami before the season started) and without Phil Jackson (who had retired, although he would return next season 2005-2006 to the Lakers), as Kobe got his wish to be the man on a team and he got to stay with the Lakers. As for Tim Thomas, ironically, whenever I think of him, I just think of that game tying 3-pointer as time expired in the 4th quarter of game 6 of the first round against the Lakers in the 2006 playoffs, to force overtime, when he was with the Suns
Everytime they say the warriors not beating this team I show mfs this exact game 🤣 you got steph klay and kd that can do this how are you stopping them 4 times WITH ONLY MIKE taking shots fr
Remember, 6'10" Larry Bird played power forward in 1980-81. Cedric Maxwell was the small forward in 1980-81. As a power forward Larry Bird was just as fast as any power forward at the time.
It's amazing that so many production companies and such own and have the videos of so many different areas of the past that we saw on TV and in the theaters and yet they haven't yet put almost all of it on DVD or online anywhere. There are so many things they could make a lot of money from if they'd just digitize it and sell it in bundles for cheap. That stuff is just lying around waiting for some fan to see and yet they don't even seem to want to make money off of something just sitting around somewhere.
For those who say Larry couldn't play tonight look at Jokic they play for very similar.all time great players can play in any era they would just have to adjust to that era.
I can understand Kobe’s frustration. If you don’t shoot the shot, you miss the opportunity for the win. He couldn’t shoot with no time and a double team so he gave it to Walton.
Wilt, Bird,... Mike,... Kareem... ...and Kobe, ... with Pete , Bill Walton , Hakeem., Magic and Isiah, David Robinson and Thompson for subs. Oops.. Jerry West, too. That bench team would win alot of games.
Reggie Harding was likely retarded, and had no earthly chance of having even a decently long NBA career or a meaningful (or long) post-professional career. I was nineteen when Harding,30,was murdered Sept.2,1972,52 years ago today by someone with whom he argued, two weeks after his birth mother Lillie Mae Thomas' slaying. To worsen matters,Harding's son,Reggie Jr., killed someone in 1988 and is serving life without parole in Southern Michigan Prison in Jackson, Mich. Also,Harding raped Supreme Florence Ballard in 1959,but Berry Gordy and Harding's high school (and almost certainly the cops) covered it up.What should have been a great life was horribly shortened due to Harding's intellectual shortcomings and living in the squalour for which Detroit was then known, and even today, has far from overcome.RIP,Reggie, you could have been great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
