Does not fit all seats! Spindle seat screws into hinge, so you have no choice but to use fittings that come with it & stick the long bolt through & tighten with wing nuts from underneath. Very annoying that shops do not show the hinge fitting types on outside of box or make customers aware of difference. Otherwise I would have been more diligent to find a product that would match what shows in your video. I appreciate the concept of how it works though so perhaps next time in far future I will aquire correct product for fix fittings. Wobble away!
I had to fit a panel with no fixings at all except a strip of wood under the top rim of the bath, so I used 2 of these with a heavy MDF solid bath panel. The easiest way I found was to screw the UniPanel Fixers top and bottom (set them back from flush slightly) I had to fix the top with just one screw as they would have been to far forward for the panel to be flush with the bath. I used the enclosed sticky pads then screwed. Once they're all set up, leave the Velcro stuck together, hook to loop, and stick it to the square spaces on the UniPanel that go on to the threads (cut threads to length if too long). Don't peel the sticky side that attach's to the bath panel just yet, but instead, offer the bath panel up to the pads and make sure the panel hits each one in turn or is not to far out. Adjust them all so that the panel is flush whilst touching the pads, then peel the pads and stick the panel in place once your happy with the positioning. Very good product, easy to use, and saved time. No movement on the panel, its very sturdy and fixed solidly in place with just 2 UniPanels. Would highly recommend them.
To fit the velcro more accurately I simply peeled off the protective tape and stuck both bits of velcro together hook to loop. Then just pushed my panel on and then the self adhesive velcro sticks to the panel in exactly the right place. Good piece of kit and cheap too. I'd recommend.
Hi there. Not a silly question at all tbh. It will work either way. The long bottom fin should be around 5mm more than your gap size and the shorter blade positioned on the inside of the screen. This will help deflect any water away from the bottom fin. Hope this helps.
Thanks for this- I foolishly tried to slide it across but alas got half over halfway then it wouldn't budge! Eventually got it fitted on curved glass using this method. Thanks again
