The Guardian Cap is a one size fits all soft-shell football helmet cover that reduces impact forces up to 33%. Caps are permitted for high school practices and games by the NFHS and permitted for practices by the NFL. The Guardian is lightweight (less than 8 oz), waterproof, has a low coefficient of friction, and is scientifically tested. Caps are currently being worn by over 200,000 youth, high school, college & NFL athletes.
No helmet, practice apparatus, or helmet pad can prevent or eliminate the risk of concussions or other serious head injuries while playing sports. Researchers have not reached an agreement on how the results of impact absorption tests relate to concussions. No conclusions about a reduction of risk or severity of concussive injury should be drawn from impact absorption tests.
This is like ppl wearing cloth masks and thinking it's stops microscopic viral infection particals 😂 Getting hit by an NFL linebacker is essentially like getting into a car wreck that little helmet condom isn't helping anything. Football is dangerous there's no way around it. The players know what they signed up for. If they're too scared that's ok. I get it. But this gimmick is ridiculous.
Got my first ever concussion while wearing this, my team has had 5 concussions at practice alone and we wear guardians. Last year we had 3 the entire year and didn’t wear them at practice
Does the NFL own or invest in your company? Great tech but it looks awful. You will have a backlash when the winning catch is using Guardian Caps and makes it onto Sports Illustrated. You need to work with Riddle and other to integrate Guardian Caps tech into the helmets. Or open the comparison up. One company suppling these to the NFL and all of football seems suspect and has never happened. Watch out or someone will make Guardian Caps look better and work better.
I think the q collar is way more effective. The guardian cap is just an extension of the helmet. The q collar actually thickens the blood between your brain and skull which makes it harder for your brain to move around… you can take a hard hit that’s not even to the head and suffer a concussion based off of momentum changes. Q collar prevents this while the skull cap doesnt
Shit dumb😒 no grass fields, no kick returns for like 5 years, late hit flags for saying hi to the qb, PI for flopping and running next to the receiver, flag for talking trash to another player…at this point bowling is more physical than football. NFL-NON FOOTBALL LEAGUE, NO FOOTBALL LEFT
None of these videos teach how to put it on The videos runs too fast. It doesn’t explain which bars to attach it to, in the front or sides. It doesn’t explain how to attach the chin guard. Need verbal step by step instructions The videos are nothing but silent promotional sales videos. 100% of the risk is on Guardian for injuries since no one really knows the correct way to attach them
@@TyreekHill-xw8vjlmao sure it’s protects the helmet from scratches but that’s not why players are wearing them. It reduces impact and chances of concussions. I know a lot of kids who wear them in practice & games including my son
Fam.. this finna cause neck injuries. They're going to hit even harder bkuz they're protected. Causing them to try to go head up with the GAURDING CAP.
@@takikat No, I don't. I am saying that if a player cannot take a hard hit, he should not play football. The same thing applies to, say, boxing and MMA. The sports are rough, so if a player cannot handle it, the player should quit.
I can’t understand why this is not mandatory for all football. Plastic helmet on plastic helmet collision versus the soft cushion collision With all of the concussion concerns this seems like a no-brainer similar to a seatbelt in your car
Over 90% of autopsied NFL players have had CTE. If this ruins the game for you I’m sorry but I’d rather have these people living normal lives after and looking a little goofy in the process.
