Welcome to my corner of the internet! My name is Carla. I joined the planning community in May of 2019, but I am not new to planning. I have been using a planner almost my whole life, but when I found the planning community, a whole new world opened up for me.

I use the Pentalic A6 grid notebook for my journal/planning needs. I love the thickness of the paper. It's nice to see someone showcase it. I purchased my 3 intial notebooks on Amazon for $9.90 each. I just bought 3 more from Walmart for $5.38 each. 👍
I know you said the green notebook is from a different company.. but do you think you can fit 2 b6 stalogys full year 365 into the aura estelle cover ?
I think I you could. I haven’t tried it. But the stalogy is similar size in thickness. What is do is go to Aura Estelle’s site and see the thickness of the B6 daily and compare it to the stalogy! This is a super roomy cover and I think they would fit!

oh that looks great and they do B6....!! the graph colour looks fainter than on the website where it looks dark (and I don't like that). What is the true colour of the graph would you say?
I feel like this is too light for me. I think in person it’s lighter than what I thought was shown. But I’m also pretty sensitive to grid color and if it’s too light I struggle seeing where I am writing, so I actually like mine darker!
I would get the filofax clipbook in A5 (which weighs the least out of all A5s) and put there 5 mm inserts that I need😊 Another solution is to leave only the monthly inserts in the gillio out of all past planner inserts to make it lighter and add the flip out monthly pages, where you have the bigger boxes because it's aonth on 4 pages instead of 3. The 3rd option is to make the writing smaller
Not that i want anyone to struggle, but im always glad to find out im not alone with the grid size. When i use anything smaller than 5mm my writing feels cramped and i dont like how it looks. I always end up back in a stalogy or other notebook/insert with 5mm grid. Im always trying them though because i love all the features, but i dont like the struggle. I feel like were in the minority so no planner company will ever cater to us 🙄😆
The dots are definitely a little bigger but i really appreciate the fact that they go into the spine. The templates are also great! I really liked the "My Plan". Great review and super in depth. Thank you for sharing!

I respect so much that you measure all of the things! although I don't use them I know its so helpful for the community and I enjoy watching you do it and finding out what the measurements look like on real products :D
Aw thanks for this feedback! I always felt like it was helpful when I watch reviews! I am very visual and it helps put things in Perspective of what to expect when you actually see it in front of you!
So I only use the cut lines for the first cut down the middle and then the first other cut. Then the cutter you have has inch marks at the very top so just measure 6.75 inches for height and then the correct width.
I printed 6 months at a time before I got the 5 mm and just printed March after my 5 mm. Now I’m glad I didn’t print all of it because I printed it wrong! 🤣

I was really unmotivated with any planhers... yesterday I put the store-bought A6 planner in my pocket luxe rings planner with smaller 20mm rings instead of 30, and it clicked for me! I got BIG pages into a SMALL planner! I don't want to carry a bigger cover, but I am tired of the small pages! The pages are a little bit shorter than the standard A6 size, they are 14 cm tall instead of 14,8, just as the pocket moterm itself!

I was thinking of getting silk and saunder cause uts pretty but its complicated and with all their pretty i can't decorarate much myself..these look perfect 😂

I came across one of your earlier videos from almost a year ago about how you're going to use makselife companion notebooks differently and now I'm watching this one. Love your process! I hope to combine makselife + 12 weeks as well.
