That was a good day but that area ended up being vacated by the Deer and us. Rainy, foggy weather and a bear roaming around put a stop to Deer activity.

I mostly smoke cigars from Drew Estates tried a couple of different tobaccos when I was at camp FU but can't remember what they were. Probably some dime store generic tobacco. Lol
That place was a palace. Two bedrooms with a loft, wood stove, indoor plumbing with a shower and a full kitchen with a microwave. This was a VRBO rental that we found over a year ago. Had to go back just to make sure we weren't dreaming. Lol.
Great video fellas ! I get a kick out of the deer aging when I am told the deer is a 2 year old. I responded once asking if it was a 1 1/2 year old or a 2 1/2 year old and I got a blank stare from the wildlife biologist. So, I rephrased my question..."if I hadn't shot this deer and it's next spring, I wanted to throw my deer a birthday party....would I put 2 OR 3 candles on it's birthday cake?" Still got a blank stare. lol 🤨
Ridge runner and ground pounder for life! Nothing better than exploring new areas and learning what's over the next ridge. Team CGS exploring some great country. Big woods bucks are the hardest to get.
Thanks Bill. We found that cabin on VRBO and met the owner during the week. Huge hunter and said we were the first guys hunting out of his house. He gave us some areas to check out. 👍Your cabin looks amazing and I want that chicken wing recipe now. 👍🤞
Camp FU is still the best place in my mind. It leaked had no running water or amenities but all of us got to hang out for an entire week together. It was the true definition of a perfect deer camp. I was sad when the owners sold it.
