Not saying all would want to move up but giving these drivers more oval experience will definitely help cause so many drivers that come to AMERICA and race either NASCAR or INDYCAR have a hard time getting used to all the oval tracks we have
I know they dont have larger tracks outside of America but I am not a fan of the smaller ovals like this for nascar. Like the race they do in LA in the Coliseum. Just not the same as the larger tracks where they can let it rip.
Don't know if there is another racetrack in Europe where you can be this close to the track as a visitor... Always amazing being in venray standing right at the fance while the cars driving inches away from you
I've only watched a few EuroNASCAR races before and never been particularly impressed with them but this was something else! Good close, clean racing with only one caution the entire weekend! Compare that to the 4 overtime restarts at Nashville later on in the day! We need more ovals in Europe and to quote the iconic movie Field of dreams 'If you build them they will come!' Start by bringing Rockingham in England back!
@janyko3333 oh I did look at those from what I saw they look like super modified sprint cars. People laugh at nascar for them not looking like the real car those for shure don't look like a real car but seemed cool

Ryan is a class act. He was saving his tires for the end, and he didn't press too hard to take 2nd place and possibly wreck him out. It was still a hard fought battle between two gentlemen. Fantastic race!!
What is the engine limitation here? These cars don't seem to accelerate at all.. it seems very leisurely by comparison almost like hometown late model races.
This is great, as a long time nascar fan this a beautiful oval. There is some serious talent in this euro nascar league. But 70 laps is kinda cute not being a road course and being a short track.
Venray is the only oval in Europe that's realistically can do EuroNASCAR event. Tours Speedway doesn't exist more since it was just a makeshift oval built over a Carrefour parking lot (and which Venray eventually replaced), Lausitzring is too big + no SAFER barrier + DEKRA left most part of the oval in disrepair, and Rockingham is essentially not be able to host races anymore. Before anyone points it out, sure Venray doesn't have SAFER barriers yes, but EuroNASCAR cars are much slower in speed and accelerations compared to even ARCA cars so there's not really any need for it.
I noticed both of these comments were negative so I wanted to say I think, as an American NASCAR fan, it's awesome that you all are bringing our style of motorsport to the world and putting it out for all of us to watch! Keep it up!
