Oh cool a Seat Leon WTCC from my childhood. Also, I still think the GT2 Audi looks weird with it being based on the spyder version of the R8. Nice Video.
I also like these records. Additionally to the action shown there, it is surprisingly nice to see a DAF 66 or a Citroen DS used on a rally. I have travelled to many rallies, and have seen many cars. But not these ones. 🙂 What I also liked to see (and to hear! 🤩) had been the bravely driven GT-Porsche! 🥰
@@b.gz2418 Ben er nu een beetje te oud voor. Maar vroeger vele crazy races gereden. Geen kooi voetenbak of 4 punts gordels. Verder werd er niet geracet maar gecrasht er stonden meestal tussen de 50 en 100 auto's aan de start en de winnaar was de laatste die nog reed.
Mooi!!!! So gut das die Bangerstox und PriveCars jetzt auch in Posterholt fahren. Ich denke das es zusammen mit den 2l Saloons mit Abstand die meisten Zuschauer anlockt!! Bei den Stockrods sind nach Jahren auch wieder gute Starterfelder....,wer will schon 6 oder 7 Autos pro Lauf sehen
Y'all remember way back in 2010-2013 some of the Mercs had a high pitched exhaust sounds akin to the ones you'd find in older Ferrari V8s? It was only a few cars on the grid that had that higher pitched (think an octave up) sound.
@@racingreporteurope Yeah, you had the more 4-cylinder sounding V8s but then the occasional Mercedes or even Audi with that high pitched, F1-like sound, wonder if they used different headers or something because it was a distinct note from the rest of the cars.
The car looks great! I guess it will be the 2.0 naturally aspirated engine because there was a turbo version and all-wheel drive, although there aren't many of these left 😅 Good luck! Will you use it to participate in an event?
@@racingreporteurope 1.6 as in the 4A-L engine? (European counterpart of the 4A-C) If so, damn! I’ve got a 1.6 4A-L in my 1986 4th gen too! Did you RWD/AWD convert it or are you rallying it as is as a FWD car?
It is really sad these days. Not a single high end brand was there at the 24h. No ferrari, lambo, chevrolet, etc. The field was sooo dissapointing and boring. I didnt went for almost 20y , and looks like i will never go again
