It's so sad that Terrence Mann wasted his talent on musical theatre. Such an incredible, versatile actor. I wish he had choose movies instead, he had the potential.

I saw the original Broadway show when I was 9 years old with my mom. Loved the music for years before that, and finally seeing it in person.... this part of the show was amazing to watch. I'm 44 now, and the memories this brings back I will cherish forever.

Just found this. Buckley sings like someone shoved the music sheet under her nose and said "sing this!". Her rendition of the song had no regrets, sadness nor deep longing for the yesterdays of her life. It was as close to a robot performance as I can imagine. Paige was the original Grizabella, so has obviously an advantage. She conveyed the sadness of a cat who'd live the life and was left alone with nothing but her memory for comfort.

One of the voices here is that of the beautiful Donna King. She was also a sleek and sexy dancer. I was able to see her in this show in late 1982 at the Winter Garden in NY.. Wonderful show !
