disconnect power to the amp modules and see if power supply works fine. If yes then it is a fault on an amp module. Can you connect one module at a time? Find the bad board and then see if any mosfets are bad on that board. Was a fuse bad? If so this output side may be blowing fuses due to shorted mosfets.
How do you change the function of the led columns and LCD display to switch positions between voltage and current readout? I read you can change between led and LCD for either I or V but i can not see how it is done. Thanks
Hello, I have 912 series and, when I increase the volume without clip, the amplifier enter in protection and the music is stop. can you, please give me an idea what to check?
Hello, good video, I have a problem, with Powersoft K20 it was working normally and I got an "error 6300" message on channel 1, what could be the cause and its possible solution?
I had to take out the IEC power connectors and hardwired cords of the proper guage into all my amplifiers. I haven't had an amplifier failure since then. The IEC power connectors are THE number one cause of amplifier failures as they are only meant to carry 10 amps. The 20 amp IEC only carries 15 amps. The power lights don't dim on my amplifiers any more. If you don't believe me, put a volt meter between one of the lines and the corresponding connector in the amplifier and drive it at full power - 20 to 30 volt difference and drop between wall receptacle and power switch inside the amplifier!. I have 3 dozen Cerwin Vega CV-5000 amplifiers rated for 5,000 watts each. They came with 20 amp IEC's - i could not get the amplifiers to put out anything past 2,925 watts bridged at 4 ohms. When I hardwired 8 guage power cords into each of them - 6,600 watts bridged at 4 ohms, pulling 60 amps peak each amplifier.
I have 6 units of Muse 210 and 10 units of Horizone VHA 406, they are all damaged and they are all damaged the same, namely they only live for 1 second after that they die again
Hi. I repaired a PSU, now an amplifier is working. But sometimes, when it turn ON, I have a FAULT Channels message on display. Did you ever got a this one and can you please help me with this problem?
That's quite the detailed look, thank you! This is great. What is your overall impression of this active speaker? Quality of transducers, overall design, amplifier section, electronics etc? I would relaly love to know. I am considering a pair, but the 2000$ per cab price is quite painful. Do you feel this is a speaker designed to last a long time? Thank you in advance!
Mam gdx 4 i nie mogę pozbyć się problemu losowego efektu brum na głośniki, likwidowałem pętle masy ,podłączyłem kablem nie symetrycznym i dalej problem, ktoś ma jakiś pomysł?
8. Troubleshooting tips For additional troubleshooting information on K.2 Series powered loudspeakers, please see the “K.2 Series Service Trouble- shooting Guide” document available on the QSC Service Partner Portal. QSC will frequently revise the Troubleshooting Guide document as new common failures are found. The troubleshooting contents inside this service manual are strictly tips that will help you troubleshoot the loudspeaker. Safety first • The filter capacitors between PRI_HI / PRI_LO and VSS / VDD store a lot of energy! The voltage on these rails takes at least 10 minutes to fully discharge. If you are performing rework or repair, always discharge both voltage rails. • PRI_LO is NOT chassis ground. Do not use an oscilloscope or DMM connected to earth ground. 8.1 General tips AC mains fuse • If the AC mains fuse blows, a soldering iron is required to replace it. To measure for an open AC fuse, use the tip noted in “8.2 Testing the AC mains fuse and line filter components”. • The fuse is not field-replaceable by an end-user, see location in Figure 9.14.1. Power supply • If the PSU is not running and no LEDs are turning on, check the voltage across PRI_ HI and PRI_LO for approximately 320 - 340▲Vdc. Check the voltage across resistor R147 for approximately 55▲Vdc. • If the PSU does not come out of a pulse-skipping mode, check for shorted diodes D23, D24, and D51. Also check U2, Q8, and Q7 (in the HF amplifier section). • If excess transformer noise is heard in normal mode, check the PWM at U15. Also check U4 for bad solder or failed components nearby.
Wow this is like an oldschool youtube video. Just silence. arggghhhhhhh. Please talk and activate subtitles! Thank You. Nothing annoys me more than silent youtube videos.......
Hi . What the firwire to microcontroller pic16 . and I already have 40 non-working paid ones for the power supply. 10 of them arrived 380V . Is it possible to contact you somehow? We are located in Almaty, Kazakhstan
