Suggestions: Why you did not provide chairs or stools for the chiefs and the elders to let them look like Ghana Dance Ensemble piece of the Gathering? The Queenmother and the chief cannot be made to dance alone even though it is a choreographed piece, they need helpers ( Asekamma) when they go to the dancing arena.
Nice production. But the women playing Bomaa drums? Please if you want to maintain the tradition, do the right thing. Some of us are not enthused by this bastardization of the culture. Any justifiable explanation for the women playing the Bomaa drums?
I have one question for you? Why do God create a women if she decides to play Bomaa drums is it a big deal? I believe you have flown in an airplane before, if you see a female pilot do you tell the crew you can't fly because of the female pilot? Your thought process about females is a bit whack,. Who said females can't play this drum?
