Personally i don’t like main deck relay right now:in g1 i want to combo off as soon as possible and relay doesn’t help you in that regard:if the meta shifts to more grindier games(or you expect to play a lot against these decks)relay makes a lot of sense. Phlage is really good as an alternative win condition against fair decks:most of the time the opponents mullingan hard for the sideboard cards against storm and in doing so they have to keep bad hands that phlage easily dismantle:I don’t like phlage at all against other combo decks
Hi man! Why did you mulligan in the first match? It seems to me that DRC helps a lot in cleaning up draws, while Veil of Summer is a bit more 'to manage' for the green mana...
Hi!I mulliganed that hand because i didn’t know what the opponent was on:in that circumstance i usually mulligan for a hand with medallion/ral especially if i am going second;If I’d knew the matchup beforehand i’d probably keep that hand. DRC is not that good against decks that have orcish bowmaster and I cut some copies of DRC for veil of summer because yawgmoth usually has thoughseize. This match was recorded weeks ago:right now I swapped the DRCs for 2 copies of strike it rich,a copy of valakut awakening and another land:also the double splash was not worth it I think it’s better to commit to only one splash(both the green and the white splash are doing good so it’s a choice between personal preference and the meta you’re expecting)

@@LuigiTeti-y8r i bring phlage in the matchups Where I want another win condition(some matchups i bring it in for example are boros energy,burn,uw control,ur tempo) Instead of phlage you can: - play more answers to problematic sideboard cards - play more copies of empty the warrens as an alternative win condition Also the new 4 mana otter from bloomburrow seems really interesting for storm it might be a good alternative to phlage
