My fav part! I absolutely love Blennys. So much attitude. One of the divers pointed him out to me, he went over and placed his hand right at the top to show me and I saw the Blenny make a show of going for his fingers 😂 so cute. The current was strong pushing me back and forth so was hard to get close and steady. But absolutely love the cutie blenny
No idea, didn't get closer, thats all I saw too. Might have been at a point I couldn't go down further again as I had gotten to my limits for being deeper. Was also conserving energy so I didn't use all my air too quick. All the interesting stuff I captured I have included in the video.
It was a fun dive but I still prefer it as a day dive, as you get to see more of the wreck and more in general in daylight. Night time you are just so limited by what the torch picks up.
I've done lots of night dives now, this is the deepest, but its quite amazing just seeing what there is to find, its all consuming which leaves little space to much worry about the unknown 😊
It wasnt to be there is was quite awesome watching it come into view clearer. We could see it from the surface which is very cool - and pretty good vis considering you are looking through about 18m of water to the top of the wreck.
Maybe - but my interest lies in the life in any location, rather than the location itself. So you will likely see more animal based content with the wreck in the background. It costs a fair bit to get out to this location if you don't have your own boat and being so deep, you have limited time there. I couldn't get to all the bits of the boat in one dive even if I wanted to (unless I got into tech diving/equipment/$$$). But I follow the cool animals I see, that's what I am interested in and that what I want to watch back when I see my videos again :)
At some stage, I have some I did last summer I haven't edited yet 🙂 was too busy diving and not editing tsk tsk. Anyway trying to chip away and tackle the backlog!
I felt that way, until doing a night dive. It's super meditative. You never know what you are about to discover! I was hooked right on my first night dive. Cool stuff comes out at night!
