I'm Shawn Stoffel (*RelicSeekr*), a long time metal detectorist with the passion for researching and locating original homestead sites. I started my adventures in upstate New York at the age of ten, more than thirty seven years ago. I had dreamed of what great treasures lay buried at the old house sites where I grew up. So I started searching them with a detector and began finding out. Since then, I have searched hundreds of homesites spanning the globe. My favorite relic hunting sites are still located in upstate New York, but today my hobby is practiced in North Carolina where the sites are equally favored. First of all don’t play music in my face, I guess I’m just getten grouchy in my old age I guess, I just turned 75 on the 5th of this month, well I would love to be doin what your doin but it’s not easy when you get 75 no it just gets tougher
I grew up on green bean casserole here in the Midwest. That number plate was a sundial. Why the dislike for British people? That's my family, lovely people.
