I'm an arabic speaking Christian, I started singing this while listening to it, and even though I was not feeling any surge of strong emotions my eyes uncontrollably started tearing and crying. It was my soul that was crying, not my body or mind. I believe I was crying tears of sorrow for my sinful self, while also crying tears of happiness knowing I have been growing closer to Christ. These are the first tears I cried in 8 years.
