How can you read that bubble level, it seems that you can't view it from directly above since the plate is blocking it. You'd have to be reading the bubble level from an angle which makes it hard to truly center, right?
brother you need to change light setup, cant visible your product properly need little brighter , your light setup is wow, but not working here in your vlog
If you unlock the handle 90 degrees, the arm tilt is unlocked but the monitor rotation is still pretty firm, around 180 degrees the monitor rotation is easier to adjust - and at 360 degrees the joints break loose. It depends on how much you unlock the handle
Style of the item - nato is the type of connection. Many brands make nato-mount arms and accessories. I like them because they’re fast and don’t twist once you lock them down
I watched another review of the Athena , and the 35mm is the worst one in the set! I hope they make a mark II version of it soon. The rest of the set looks pretty awesome though!
Thanks for that seq to start up for future use of this setup. I'm still messing with the DJI RSC 2 before I start recording a music video. My stupid a7IV gave me an overheating headache and thought it was linked to all of these things running, but it's just a Sony brainfart and updated the thermo threshold setting to High. (SONY, WHAT THE HECK?) That camera is not supposed to overheat. That's why I got it, but on the first try here in Florida, 🤯 OH warning.🤯 The ports on the left side of the camera were somewhat warm, so I thought it was because all those ports were running hard. I miss the old days of real large cameras that never had any of these issues, floating on my bulky analog, terminator looking, back breaking stabilizer... Vest, and all.😂😂😂😂 CHEERS!
I’m a headshot guy in studio who shoots f4-f8 95% off the time so the size, weight, and price of the f4 too was a no brainer. The macro capabilities are a bonus.
Surely you'll be done buying lenses then, right? Right? LMAO, I'm exactly the same. I should be replacing my car, but I'd much prefer to get a set of Arles 🤣 These look wonderful, and as a Vespid owner, a big thank you for comparing them so thoroughly. I love the Vespids, and DZO just keep getting better and better. One thing very few other reviewers seem to note about the Vespids, is the short minimum focus distances. For me this adds so much extra flexibility of use compared to the competition. With the 40mm in particular, I can get such close up shots, I feel hamstrung with other lenses that don't focus as close. The Arles look to be *slightly* longer minimum distances, but still closer than so many competitors. For going light, I've been using the Tilta Mirage lightweight filter clamp without matte box, as all the filters are 95mm, and you can get them right up against the front of the lens, so there's no vignette even on the 16mm Vespid or the 14mm Athena. I find it's a great system, and there's no screwing filters on and off. Could do with a wider range of filters, but there are quite a few now that work well, and they're reasonably priced.
If you look at Laowa’s website you’ll see that they say this lens has near zero OPTICAL distortion. Which is just a different thing than perspective distortion as you talk about in this video.
I’m a new beginner & I have a Sony NEX 7 with a 18-55mm Kit lens & I wanted to know how much better would the video quality be compared to my NEX 7 Kit lens?
HELLO, THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, CAN THIS POWER BANK POWER THE SONY A7S III WITHOUT THE CAMERA HAVING THE FACTORY BATTERY INSIDE? HOW MANY HOURS OF CONTINUOUS RECORDING DOES IT GIVE IN HOURS USING THE POWER BANK RECORDING VIDEO IN 4K AT 60 FRAMES PER SECOND?
Just bought the used GM I and have no regrets. Open Box from B&H with a 1yr warranty for 1500. I take large landscapes and no video so the features in GM II while being nice (especially weight) weren't worth that much of a price difference.
Besides the extra stop and tone difference it really depends on the clinical look you want or need. Arles are clinical and Vespers slight more vintagy soft. So both are for different jobs. Both should be the answer, but the wallet and needs should speak by for themselves.
I like to build out my camera for how I'll use it to shoot, then transport it to the location - so it's a bit of a hassle taking the screen out but if I left it out, I feel like it would be easily damaged. I'm try to be very careful with my gear, and my FX3 screen already has a little bit of wobble to it. I think the screen hinge is the weakest part of these cameras
They both look good. Arles looks warmer than Vespid. Almost like a yellow tint added. While I like the 1.4 fully open look I have to admit that good dop's don't use it that often. I guess you want both sets :)
I bought the Raveneye for an RSC2 and Panasonic GH5. There is no password on my Raveneye! When I attempt to "SET PASSWORD FOR VIDEO TRANSMITTER" on the Ronin app there appears in red "Enter a password of 8 characters. Using strong password is recommended. I do so and continue to get this message no matter what password I plug in. 8 characters, 1 symbol, 1 cap and 1 number...still nothing. Getting frustrated!
Just to be sure, you've to plug the hmdi from the RavenEye to the cam, and the USC C from RavenEye to what? (I run a Lumix FZ300 with Micro HDMI (*3), sortie AV (PAL/NTSC), USB (multi USB/AV) there is as ports) Thanks in advance Edit: My cam isn't in the compatibility list
