I own this machine and the one thing I hate about it is, there is a round plastic disk that clogs up with lent and that causes the machine to over heat and shut down during the dry cycle. There's no access to the disk. You have to have a service technician remove the top and back of the machine in order to get to and clear that disk. It's a poor design and gives the splendide a bad name.
The oven still works but if you manually turn it off and don't hear the ping then it will go to "stay on" so be sure to unplug it after each use. Also, the temperature is now about 75 degrees off so I can't cook at over 375 degrees. I called Kitchen Tek and they can't tell me where to buy new controls and the lady wasn't very friendly in my opinion. Without part numbers, there's nowhere to call for these parts and it's out of warranty. I still have not used my new stove's oven because the WP works just fine; I just have to be careful. Even with the bad controls, it's a real good oven and the steam feature is pretty cool. It really does bake a turkey in half the time. PS: When you twist the dial to turn it off, push in as you twist to hear the ping. Someday, I'll take it apart and see if there are numbers on the controls so I can order and do my own repair. The controls probably aren't exclusive to this unit. If anybody has the part numbers, can you post?
This may be one of the only eastbound trips over the old bridge before the temporary S Curve (seen under construction at the 4:00 mark) was implemented. Thank you for sharing.
ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING WITH THIS FOOLS NAME ON IT IS MADE IN CHINA 'SHIT' WILL LAST JUST OVER A YEAR THEN SOMETHING WILL DIE, ALL MONEYGRABS FROM THIS FOOL, HE SOLD HIS SOUL TO CHINA, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING WITH HIS NAME ON IT, FROM POTS, PANS, BLENDERS, COOKIE SHEETS............................. IT IS ALL JUNK!!!!!
The thing they don't realize, or maybe don't care about, is that if we can't stop our 40 ton trucks, our front bumper will be in their dashboard, and they will be MUSH!!!!
Prime be stupid like that. Same crap happen to me on the 10 east into az. I was passing up a prime truck and right when my nose was about to cut even with the rear of his trailer he swings out to avoid an abandoned car on the side that has been ticketed by az state troopers...nobody was in or near the car.
