Sounds like a great tour! 👍 That day, we came from Bruneck and took passo Valparola and Falzarego downto Cortina, then further over passo Cibiana to Longarone and passo Crosetta, we went up to Piancavallo and then back over passo Osvaldo, San Antonio and Kreuzbergpass. In total it was around 370 km. Exhausting but wonderful. 🤩

We went down to Barbiano but I did not take it on camera.

It is mounted on a tank ring. Be sure to place some rubber tape between the tankring and the camera mount to supress the vibrations.

For me it only happens on low RPMs and when I do not pull the shift lever hard enough. On high RPMs the quick shifter works fine for me. Generally, it works much better than on my F3.

So maybe it depends on the pressure you put while shifting and the RPMS...either too low or too high RPMS could give you this problems. I agree with you, usually it works very smooth and is a pleasure to ride the rs 660

It was never my intention to overtake him. We don't overtake each other when we are riding in a group. This would only end up in dangerous maneuvers.

The F3 is sharper than the RS. It is a race bike with lights and mirrors with no compromises for daily road use. The RS is way more easy to ride and can be ridden on all kinds of roads. If you are looking for a sharp race bike, take the F3. If you are looking for a daily commuter, take the RS. I have ridden both bikes offroad. It works but it is no fun.

Hi, I owned a MV Agusta F3 before and the RS 660 is way more agile in narrow curves. It behaves really well. I think it is due to the higher and wider handle bars in comparison to more radical supersport bikes.

Ciao Francesco, the RS is a sporty bike and so it has sporty ergonomics but it is not as uncormfortable as the regular 600cc supersport bikes (e.g. R6, F3, Daytona). I rode daily tours of 400 km and more without any hurt. It is ideal for both communing and sporty weekend tours.

I think its time was over after more than 56000 km. One intake valve spring broke but the repair would have been too expensive.

Race engines are not built to last long and unless you do a wise maintenance to prevent ruptures they tend to brake. 56.000 is decent and you could buy a second hand engine.

I did. But that other engine had broken bearings. So I stopped all the efforts in fixing it and sold the bike.

It‘s actually the bikers constantly breaking the speed limit and overtaking over solid lines… I‘m a biker myself and like to go fast but I never ride like this

I think it was just luck and good electronics. It rained the day before and the street was still wet in some places.
