It's not that the potatoes were tiny it's not well presented! It looks like a 13 euro dish! 18 euro for a cocktail in an ordinary glass looking like a cheap smoothie I think it's fair to say you got robbed or they served you the peasent menu! This place has no finesse 👎
It’s a once and done type restaurant. The high cost is to keep people who can’t afford it away and attract people that can afford it so that they can brag about eating here on social media- basically marketing this place for free.
@@rosemartine actually they don’t. The original recipe is like a salad. You don’t have to cook the onions and peppers and you just add vinegar, lime juice and mayo to taste with salt and pepper . The taste is totally different. I made it with the cheese and without. Hands down the, the authentic version is without cheese
Food is art and if you follow Dorothy she is a good cook, what works for you might not work for her and we have to learn to accept each other's chouces of ingredients.

If one wants to add their own twist to the recipe it can no longer be called Salad Russe. Salad Russe is a simple salad of beets, potatoes, carrots, sweet peas, onion, mayo and boiled egg. Thank you this is my new staple recipe. I've tried lots of others but this one is best. I don't add the radish and I add one other ingredient that I picked up from the comment section in some other video. But great job to you.
I meant to say I suffer from acid reflux, but it is under control and I am feeling much better and I watch my diet carefully. Isn’t too much acid when you add lemon 🍋 and bitter orange 🍊 and some of us suffer from reflux acid while preparing cette fameuse soupe 🍜 à la citrouille de Joumou;alors je me demande?😊
