I am here to share in all my trail adventures. Whether it be in the Winter on a sled or Summer on a Dirt Biking and Jeeping I will be posting videos of trails, events and just a great time out with friends here in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada and surrounding areas. Subscribe and feel free to comment below! Thanks for watching!
I love the feedback. Thank you. I will make sure I get on that and include that stuff for next season. Sorry to hear your season was even worse. Next year will be better!
Thanks for some sweet rides this year. Two new sleds here w 150 miles on each. One trip to upper Michigan while they had a bit of snow. Otherwise brown everywhere. So it was really nice to at least watch you!!
Definitely one for the record books (in a bad way!). 1964 km verses the 5381km last year and 3504 km the year before that. Glad that we could get out riding though!
There is an area right where Boice Bradley Dr starts. Where you can park. There are a few spots along that road where you can pull off to park on the side actually. There is a spot or 2 at the park by Haliburton lake but you have to road run. And there is a lot at the end of Ross Lake rd.
Hope they got their sleds back - I'd bet cops didn't do much - really deters from venturing out there. Anyway - trails look great - thanks for the ride. Cheers from T.O.
Hi! Thanks for watching, that sucks you don’t have any snow. I think that weekend was my last ride for a while. We now have no snow either 😢. I’m still praying for a late winter and this was just a mid winter thaw
Hello, what days did you ride at St. Come if you dont mind me asking? We headed up there Friday for a week first time. 1-10 what did you think and any pointers?
We were there Feb 1st and 2nd. I would say it was prob an 8. There was still the odd patch of thin snow and rocks but not bad. It was mostly in the lower elevations. My pointer would be to look at the FCQM map and look at snowfall and grooming and go there. From St come we went SE and NW and it was great cause that’s where the most snow was.
Thanks so much for the kind words! We have no snow where I’m from either so I drove 650kms to find snow in another province. What a terrible winter this year. Everywhere is hurting for snow.
Yes that section is now closed and this was a week and a half ago. Likely way worse now but I haven’t been out in the area since then due to above freezing temps and some drizzly days
Just found this channel!! This is where I ride!! I’m from up on Kawagama lake,, our lake is fine to ride just waiting to hear about Kenisis and Redstone so I can get down there to ride,,, great channel thx
Thanks! I appreciate the kind words! I’ll be posting as often as I can. This weekend is a trip to Quebec so I’ll try and stay on that then I have another upcoming trip mid Feb in northern Ontario so stay tuned for that.
I absolutely LOVE it! It handles great when you get the suspension dialed in. Couple clicks stiffer in the front if you stick to trails and then 3-4 clicks softer of you hit off trail and it flops over pretty easy then. Definitely a playful sled! Love how easily the front comes up as well. Makes it really nice for choppy terrain to just skip over the tops of bumps and whoops yet soaks up the bumps in corners and stuff. Really really impressed with it.
@@sunsettrailrider no it doesn’t push at all in the corners. The tipped up rails work fantastic and it rides like a 136 on trail. You can drift most of the corners if you want and hang the back out. Last year I was on a Cat ZR6000 and the steering on that was much heavier and pushed more than on the Assault.
@@HaliburtonTrailrider right on, thanks for the feedback. I’m considering switching to another sled brand for next year, lots of good sleds out there to choose from right now! We’ll definitely keep the viper as it’s always been good to us.
@@sunsettrailrider there are definitely tons of great sleds out there. Trying to find one that meets your riding style is key. I want to play off trail when I can but will predominantly be on trail so this a good mix of both worlds.
@HaliburtonTrailrider I'm in Winnipeg we had some at the cabin when the kids were younger. Had a 96 XLT. The colder it was the faster that beast went. Ride safe bud
Looks really cool , I can see that place getting a lot of business this season because people didn’t bother with a 2024 ofsc trail pass , I would like to go during the week but I’m new to snowmobiling and have no one to ride with
That is totally okay. They have rentals and you can get a guided tour if you want. If I am ever by myself I always put up a post to see if anyone is open to having a joiner. The sledding community is usually pretty good and will allow someone to join in their group.
@@andrewfranchin3674 it’s worked every time for me. Best of luck! Hopefully some more trials open up soon then feel free to shoot me a message. I’m always looking to meet new people who dirt bike and sled in the area.
