No difference because both grips are working the chest muscles the same. Just comes down to whichever grip is most comfortable for your shoulders when you're using the machine.
Not really. But dumbell presses and babell presses each have different benefits so if you have enough time you should do both , but with the hamner strength machine you get some of the benefits of BOTH. So if you only have time for one pressing movement then you should do the hammer strength machine
Well you see, my issues is that I do 95+ for floor press and I cant set them up myself because of how heavy they are. 80s I can definitely get them up; however, higher than that I need someone else to pass me the weights.
i use dumbbell hooks now they sell mad spotter dumbell hooks in the us u can unrack ur dumbbells from a smith machine or bar in a rack to press them very comfortable but maybe not in a commercial gym i train at home
@@andymckenzie928 I'm new to your excellent channel here and got a lot out of your EZ Bar Row for rear delts. Regarding the calves, I'd appreciate any thoughts on my current routine which is to do as you describe above for one workout (for the gastrocs), and, on another day, do seated raises for the soleus.
I always liked the concept of doing presses and even flys for that matter on the floor as they seem better for the shoulder, however getting into position with heavy weights seem to be challenging on the floor
Certainly will Andy I'll browse further to your videos I'm sure you'll have em covered 😉as I'm new to working out..any post or preworkout powders you feel excel in what they offer? I'll tell you mine after..cheers dude.
I love these resistance bands videos. Since the gyms are still closed here in some cities here in Portugal I started working out in home only using resistance bands and bodyweight. I went from 65kg to 74kg in a year :) Never thought i could get this amount of lean muscle only without weights I'll be checking out your videos on bands for more tips!
Very good tip! I love working out with resistance bands and finding new exercises that I can do with them. Never thought of resistance band dips but I'm definitly trying it out on my next workout.
Hey Andy like your vids, and attention to good form, can you do a video on your nutrition what you eat in day type of video?? Your physique looks great. Greetings from across the pond. USA

@@andymckenzie928 i feel the exercise in my pecs, but everywhere in the internet the floor press is listed as a tricep exercise that takes the chest part out of the movement, that always kind of irritated me. If i go out nice and wide I feel it in the chest mostly and love the exercise
awesome! i am doing pullovers lately too, but since i'm work from home now i have to do them lying on the edge of my bed with my upper body.... but i like them! keep going bro! hope you can grow your channel!
