Interesting little tidbit if you play both white and White 2 or Black and Black 2 I would suggest white and white to due to the fact that N has Reshiram which is more Canon the games directly translate over to one another due to who has which legendary and if you flip flop the color of the game when going to the sequel the legendary that N has is also the one that the protagonist from the first game caught which shouldn't be possible in that timelin.. if you've done all the story and the sequels and actually read all the dialogue it's got pretty good amount of references to the first storyline and it's agreeably not quite as good as the first one the personal opinion wise the mechanics and the fact that you can explore lots of areas from the previous game and get the story tidbits that you missed in between the two games bumbs up a couple stages for me
36:41 absolutely agree, it's always slightly bothered me how the desert doesn't fit into the surrounding world. I do love the highway going across it though!
I'm surprised it hasn't been struck down. I'm pretty sure Nintendo ("they don't own pokemon" just shut up if it's ONLY on their console they basically own them with some background deal bs) is going to to pokemon go them.
yeah, nihelego, blacephalon, naganadel are all very good options for early game, however later on their use is lower, as eternatus has much higher special attack also my first victory run had shiny epic parsect and shiny slowking fused, nihilego, glaceon, mega ballade, archaludon, fezendipiti, my goal was to get a powerful Pokemon to be able to withstand both types of eternatus's moves but I didn't find one, luckily mega adamant gallade with psycho cut is strong
Salazzle is op for eternatus. They jave corrosiom ability, letting them toxic poisen steel amd ppisen types. In this game, Boss jave multiple Hp bars, so % dmg mover are op amd needed in every run. Leech seed, poisen, burn, salt cure, etc
Ya know grn 5 regional varients would probably be almost as sick as alolhas if they do it when they get there especially if they resteict it the same way b/w 1 did while allowing only regional varients as far as other gen mons go
How do you guys pay so much for your games i got 4 old pokemon ds games for 50 a piece online including both of the ones youre playing like two years ago where are you all buying this shit 😂
PSA: Retire will not always help you in his glitch server. I've asked a few questions and never got a response from Retire or anyone in the discord server under the "glitch-bar" tab. Try to follow the guides to a tea then try and decipher the codes and scripts and test what they do.
There's no shame in save scumming, some people would even cheated Egg Voucher to skip grinding and some would download save data. Personally, save scumming to save more time, since i'm grinding for the ribbons and vouchers. I would perma-ban pokemon with ribbons to make the run more interesting, because Fairy/Metal type is too op.
I wiped the entire 200 floors with Kartana, using Ceaseless Edge (Drops spikes and deals alot of damage) and Beast Boost, and for healing I used Bitter Blade, wich deals alot of damage and heals you for an x amount of your dealt damage 🤩
it took like i think 30 tries for me to finish classic but used a Skeledirge, Mega Alakazam (the carry), Magnetic (DNA Slicer Magnezone with Milotic), Meowscarada, Scream Tail, Dodrio and cant remember the last mon. Eternatus threw with attacking my second slot instead of my Alakazam so it was fine
My winning team was: Alakazam, Skeledirge, Battle Bond Greninja (Pre-nerf, it now reverts after every biome change), Machamp, Blue shiny Togekiss, and Florges
Some tips to help you beat classic - any oportunity to set up safely deals with most of the fights; - having 1 or 2 support mons and at least one bulky pokemon makes the game much easier; - the rng is 100% consistent so same actions guarrantee same results you can exploit that to gain advantage in battle so you can think about it as a puzzle you can solve; - if you are having trouble with eternatus for the regular form you can exploit eternabeam being a hyper beam variant and have a free turn, switcvh around a steel type and fairy type to expolit eternabeam is an option or if you have a steel/fairy mon its a free pass, if your pokemon can rtank some hits setting up is agood way to deal with it; - eternamax eternatus is much easier if you use damage over time effects, anything that reduces his stats like parting shot can severily cripple him and moves like clear smog removes the several buffs his boss shilds give to him; -in that note make sure you dont let items like revival seeds leftovers or shell bells get stolen by the mini black hole that can ruin your run; - if you are using a legendary as a starter make sure the second pokemon covers his weaknesses if possible, this can make the early game more manegeable on mons with bad early game that get better later on. ex: hoopa + fighting type mon; - using a shiny pokemon for one of your starters is almost always worth it, using a pokemon with pokerus (the starters surronded by a purple square have pokerus) is always a great idea in classic; - always have a good amount of money saved up nearing the elite 4 and champion the fights are way more manegeable if your team is healthy; - Your rivals rayquaza can destoy your team easily so make sure to get a pokemon that can 1v1 ray or cripple it to the point it can be managed by your other team members, - speaking of the rival they always appear on floors 8, 25, 55, 145, and 195 so get your team healed up before that; - if gym leaders are a problem remember the first one will show up either on floors 20 or 30 and then 30 floors after the last one so make sure your team is patched up before the fight, - if wild bosses are taking the better of you running away is always an option; - egg moves are broken they can make bad pokemon like sunflora and wigglytuff into powerful teamates; -if the game gives you the option of a healing item or money and you need to heal buy the heals and take the money, everyone loves a little cashback and that helps saving money, exp items are always good so prioritize them unless some broken item shows up; - if you are brand new to the game i suggest catching as many new pokemon as you can, having a big variety of options at the start of each run makes the game more fun and gives room to lots of different strategies, - at the end of each battle you can shop get your free item, but also tranfer items betwenn your pokemon freely makes sure to always keep that in mind as it can save your run. hope this comment helps anyone struggling on classic mode.
Skeledirge and Ursaluna carried me for my first win, but not as hard as my shiny dustox, first and only shiny I had for a while and they were actually surprisingly helpful with quiver dance and its egg move baton pass, it even tanked an eterna beam and I am eternally thankful for that.
