I remember my parnets this on to watch the spider-man act when I was a kid. it was already started and only saw a little of the green goblin and then got freaked out by carnage lol
In order, my most loved musicals/operas are Phantom of the Opera, Cats, and Les Miserables. When I started learning piano the music for all 3 were a must. Always wanted to see the Phantom get the girl in the end but just like life, life isn't always fair. I've seen a lot of...not necessarily hate...but distaste for Gerard as the phantom, I personally think he nailed it. He brought to it a sort of grit that you would find in a real situation.
One of the greatest musicals of all time! And the Leonard Bernstein score is fabulous! I was 13 when the movie came out and it holds up well now 60 years later!
2012, 20 years after The Film starring Christian Bale. 2018 Tubers are The Latest version of The 1899 Newsies. Think about it Papes for $0.001 and vids on are the same Price as papes.
Such a powerful performance by Linda Eder... passionate abandon with her hair blowing in the open air. I also love that the camera caught the couple lost in their love, dancing in the audience.
Here I am June 2024! It’s been over two weeks since I saw the national tour of Funny Girl. As much fun as it would be to see Lea, I was just fine with who played Fanny instead. But the song will always belong to Barbra!
I couldn't have done this at her age. Her performance is raw and youthful. Joanna was stunning but not terrifically raw, she was quite polished and so powerful. She was absolutely robbed but i kind of get why they changed direction.
I did 2 years at Birmingham Southern College! I was aquainted with Angela! She was always very gracious, sweet and friendly!! She was also "Mjss Birmingham Southers". She was the #1 Alpha Chick on Campus! But unlike all the other Alpha Chicks, she was not an arrogant harpie!! At BSC, I was 1st Tenor Sax in the " Birmingham-Southern 10:30 Jazz Band! Angela would always compliment me on my playing!!
I miss him dearly. But Wendy was so stupid to ask, "Do I just assume you're out of the closet?" Like, girl, what? So, if he wasn't, that would've put him in such an uncomfortable position.
A fine medley with great vocals by Audra. I'd love to see the 1994 edition of "Capitol 4th" posted; it featured songs from CAROUSEL performed by John Raitt and Florence Henderson!
