Hello! I'm from Brazil (sorry if you don't understand my English hehe). If you are using Maven in your JavaFX project, you need to add some dependencies to your pom.xml. There are two dependencies available, but only one of them resolved the issue for me. What Worked for Me: <dependency> <groupId>de.jensd</groupId> <artifactId>fontawesomefx-fontawesome</artifactId> <version>4.7.0-9.1.2</version> </dependency> What's Available in Maven Repository but Didn't Work: <dependency> <groupId>de.jensd</groupId> <artifactId>fontawesomefx</artifactId> <version>8.9</version> </dependency> Try using both! Hope this helps :)
If you're trying this on eclipse and it gives you a null outcome in getClass().getResources(page+".fxml") try passing to getResource() an entire string and not the "sum", ex. String app = "/previousPath/"+page+".fxml;
For Android 10 or above: packages are hidden by default, If you want to open another app installed on your phone, you need to add a <queries> brackets in AndroidManifest with the same name of package like in your class: <manifest package="com.example.game"> <queries> <package android:name="com.example.store" /> </queries> ... </manifest> In my case i want to open google pay so: <queries> <package android:name="com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel" /> </queries> and in class: launchIntent = getPackageManager().getLaunchIntentForPackage("com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel");
